  • What an amazing day and a great toy.   Passed, so can now drive one on the road!       What's the salary like?

I think the majority of the "small roadable" suggestions are heading for the CVR(T) family. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CVR(T) There are 9 members, including Scorpion and Scimitar with turrets, and at least 3 that could fit the family or some mates.

As a truly off the wall alternative, howabout something from Armortek ( www.armortek.co.uk )? Ok, they're only 1/6 scale and CNC aluminium but still weigh in at about 100kg.

Are you thinking of taking it to Castle Combe, Richard?

You'd soon make up the cost price if you charged for towing out all the trashed cars :)

I've found Richard a Tank and it's Yellow. Just needs wheels

I have a modified suggestion in line with the above, why not trash some highly deserving of trashing ? ;).

Be careful where you park then, Jab, and don't leave your car alone for more than 5 seconds ;)

Oi, just bought Wolfrace Superlights so well on my way to joining the club :).If I painted them gold would I have no need to worry any more ? :D

How about a nice Skoda tank?

100% road legal. And it floats!

ISTR the BDRMs (and BMPs) being capable of several knots; certainly enough to break canal speed limits.

And more gay than Dale Winton in a gay bar having a cocktail with Graham Norton :)

Paint it yellow but keep the pink wheels - surely that would result in a briskoda spot for Richard?

What a true man you are

Tanks are cool but you should still consider an armoured car.

Cheaper to run if you've not got limitless pockets as tanks are mega bucks just for the smallest of things when they go wrong, which it will. Tanks have been in my family for 2 generations! my dad used to drive something similar to the Saladin AC. you can buy them too.

Your fleet insurance guy is going to have a fit!!

Nah, as long as he calls it "Fleet Technical Support Vehicle" - I am talking Trojan here

Did cadge a ride in a 1950 International APC a few years back...boy did that thing go ...nearly 50mph I think....trouble is it can turn 90% at that speed as well....It hurt

Dont they have them in Battle field 4 on the US side? :D

Yep, nothing gets you quicker to flags :D. Ride is so jarring you can barely see where you going at all and it is like riding a cheered off bronco lol. Wonder of the same in real life?

I have a h licence from the army, I always preferred the warrior to drive than anything else, maintenance will be hell as the things can break without actually moving anywhere!!!!! Also I can't see the aa being much use when you spit a track off!!!

We were the first unit to get these in germany. Crap is all i can say. Second fastest thing out on the prairie though, not even the challengers could keep up with it. It lost out JUST to a Shielder. My 432 came dead last by a fairly substantial margin but i insisted on taking part out of principle lol.

My strongest memory's of the 43 series are the amount of times a pack lift was required!!!!!!

I thought those motors were bomb proof :)
