So the fabia vrs is the new saxo vts, what is the new fabia vrs?

Featured Replies

Some might say a fabia VRS became the new saxo VTS so what will the new fabia VRS be.

This has been said by various people for years now, still love my VRS though.

I love my Fabia I do

  • I still dont think they have the mass appeal. Going to a few meets I can count the number of fabia's, even skodas for that matter, on one hand usually amongst 100's. They still arnt mainstream or may

That's partly why i like it too.

Could say that about many cars lol. Just how it is, the value drops and become more affordable to many. Nothing's new here

They are far too sensible/ practible to be "the new saxo vts".. plus how many mk1 vrs have you seen with fibreglass bodykits on + spoilers on spoilers lmao :D.. (iv seen the baby blue 1 joe lol)..

They are a diesel with good mpg.. they have 5 doors.. they work (most of the time).. id say the vts has been replaced by the astra gsi not the fabia vrs.. or even the ibiza 1.8t fr...

There are loads more "new Saxo" cars out there than the mkI Fabia.

We only notice it because it's a Skoda forum...

I would say a golf mk4 has more of a saxo appeal now. There are some god awful ones around my way with cheap nasty wheels stupid stickers and washed yearly. They become a very cool car so when they came down in price and abit worn the scum jumped at them. A vrs is is a skoda so the people who think they know cool (the real chavs (im abit chavy but not a benefit scummy chav)) think the vrs is uncool so thats what makes them cool to us lot :)

The corsa vxr!

It's more 306 DTurbo.

I would say to many good dturbos got ruined before the saxo days. I owned a lovely 306 dturbo phase 1 myself in white completely standard engine and body and bloody loved the thing.

The finance mobile!

Yeah most corsa's full stop. VXR's and the limited edition 1.2s. All stink of finance.

Its the 1.2 vxr style ones

Think they are £120 deposit and £120 a month for 5 years or something!

Imagine driving one of those for 5 years! Id rather do time i think

And just to prove a point lol

there will always be a place for corsa's and fiesta's but.... It's all about drift nowadays.

Thing with fiestas and corsas is a new model comes out every five minutes!

Agree with the VXR's, also the older Astra GSI's and Astra Coupes

And just to prove a point lol

Bit off topic but you must be local to me mate. I recognise that car park, it's Flood Street Dudley isn't it?

You might have seen my friends car there a few times, black, anthracite wheels, private plate?

There's about 6 maybe more vrs's in the town where I live including a badly sprayed white one. All owned by young kids and a 07 one by a fit las :) but you can tell mines owned by a older person, it's not still on stilts, covered in stickers and making the owl noise
