There's a slim chance I can still go. They may let me close the shop for one day. The main boss hasn't been asked yet and I'm guessing he'll say no but the other one says it's a possibility. If we could employ someone then maybe they could work with the other boss.

I got the tickets from using the Newspaper discount code and ordering them directly through goodwoods website they should be £25 each general admission tickets but the discount code makes them free. Are these any different to the Skoda ones? if the skoda ones give you more than general admission then i would love 2 tickets from someone who can't make it.

I think the thursday tickets from Skoda will just get you a 'freebee' bag and into their hospitality area. Whats in the bag who knows. "I Love Skoda" stickers?? lol

Just arrived home from a few days away and I too have two tickets from Skoda with the vRS gift vouchers.....

For Thursday 11th but I have been called away and can no longer go :-(

Turns out my slim chance to go may pay off. Boss asked do I really need to go, bearing in mind that the shop would have to close unless she found cover. I said yes, made it out that I may not get tickets again if I let them down, etc so said OK but wasn't happy. Not my problem they've been lax in replacing people. Not fair on me either because I'm the one covering everyone and I get no thanks for it and when I complain about not having a day off I'm in so many words told "tough".

First peek at the new Skoda Octavia vRS today at Goodwood. Driving on track and road later
