Show us your head unit!

Featured Replies

After Bruntingthorpe, I realised that my head unit looks a little out of place in the Fabia dash. The illumination is nice, but it doesn't sit flush.

Walkies Alpine looked really smart, as did WRC63's Blaupunkt. Get ur pics up for all to see!!!

Cheers guys.

(Mine will be up for sale when I find the one that looks the best

Eddie. Nobody likes a show off though!

My Pioneer sits just like the one in the Lummox's old Furby. Don't get me wrong, they sit ok, just not as flush and nice looking as some other units out there. Who's gonna post a pic of there installed Alpine (Walkie ;) )?

WRC63 - If you really wanna hear it...

... I also realised that the Octy felt so much faster and more fun than the Furbys (even if they weren't as fast!). I also realised that drivers of WRC Octys are the best track day drivers there are going. (Including those whose are no longer stickered up! ;) ).

But in the mean time, get a pic up of your head unit in the dash!

Well Here's mine..

OEM head unit for me. Fits nice. Just add 2 amps, sub, front speakers and soon an Ipod.

i just realised that!!!!! thought it looked odd , had to look again and then i realised!! vw octavia .....looks like actually...u just liked the octavia vents!!

I couldn't get hold of a Skoda 3-Spoke wheel at a good price so went with the VW one. I'll have a vinyl sticker made up when I can be bothered.

This is my Alpine 9855, it's not flush in the picture coz it took some time to get the cables behind in the right place and a bit of foce to get it in. I can take another pic if you want to see it flush.

It's too big to attach and I can't post images for some reason.

Been looking longingly at one of those R32 steering wheels for my Furby vRS. Opinion seems to be divided on whether it will fit (I'd buy it minus airbag and refit my standard air bag - with Skoda badge!). Mind me asking where did you get yours and how much?

It'll fit the fabia as GaryM tried his in Josh's car.

I got mine used but your looking at around

I LOVE that Kenwood double DIN unit. How do you rate it?

I also like the Skoda sat-nav. But can you add amplifiers to it?

Cheers for all your pics peeps! Should really get one up of mine I suppose...

I strongly considered that Kenwood unit, it is one fantastic unit

Sorry Tom I only just clocked on to this thread, do you still wanna piccie? If so i'll have one up tomorrow :)

Yes please mate!

The only thing that worries me about the kenwood double DIN is the lack of security. I have to park up in some dodgy areas for my job... But saying that I never take my face plate off anyway! and it beeps to remind me...

Might just go for it when I have some money. IIRC about

got this one myself

I like that Bengie, does the unit inc Nav off the shelf.

iv just removed my hu. but see on "fabia 12v" for example, theres a black strip above the headunit like the ones down the side of it? well the hu i had covered that so im left with a gap above the headunit and below the buttons. any ideas on what i can do?

steve
