For sale is my girlfriends 2000 Volkswagen Polo GTI (6n2). In very good condition (excellent infact!).

Washed weekly, in very good condition. ABS, CD player, Radio, Airbags. Flash Red paintwork, part service history (due to previous lady owner losing service history in house move!), Specialist VW/VAG garage has performed all work on the vehicle since we've owned it (2009).

BBS alloy wheels recently refurbished (6-9 months ago - £350!), so not suffering from the 'usual' problem that many 6N2 polos have (bubbling/corroded alloys).

Cambelt and Cambelt tensioner changed less then 5000 miles ago. Gearbox in very good condition, no issues as with some 6N2s, car is mechanically very sound and in good working order.

Tax : Currently SORN as company car provided as part of new job.

No major scratches or blemishes on paintwork. 1.6 litre petrol (125 bhp).

Has this had the pedal box recall done? Has the gearbox been refurbished?

The gearbox hasn't been refurbished , but currently doesn't even feel like its going to need doing for another 15-20k, we've done around 12k in the 4 years we've owned it.

As regards the pedal box recall / reweld, I'm not sure, we've had the car since 2009 and haven't got any of the trademark pedal wobble or clutch problems. I'll visually check the pedal box today, see if I can see any signs of it being done.

I'm going to check with the stealers on Monday if its logged on their system as done and will post result on here.
