And if that's Jungle Green, which I think it is, it looks like justifying the wife's confidence in that colour.  I'd still very much like to see it in the flesh, though.

Mladá Boleslav, 11 November 2013 – The extensively revised ŠKODA Yeti is now
rolling off the production lines at the ŠKODA AUTO Kvasiny plant.

TP will like that one as it does not have the "LEGO" above the fogs (yet)   :giggle:

Vindicated on my choice of colour - looks great!

Sorry if someone has posted this before, I haven't seen it mentioned,  but I've just looked on the Skoda website and it seems that the 1.2TSI comes on the same lowered suspension as the 1.6TDI Greenline version. I suppose this is a cheap and simple way of giving the 1.2TSI a marginal economy boost.

Where exactly on the website please, as I have the 1.2 TSI on order?

The configurator technical data shows Greenline 25mm lower overall height than the Outdoor including the 1.2 TSI.

Looks like ANOTHER Skoda UK foxespaw.....

The regular 1.2, if it is on lowered suspension, might look better than the Greenline because it doesn't have the lower profile tyres of the Greenline. I wouldn't say no to a Greenline but I do prefer the taller ride height of the regular set up.

Quote from website :

* 1,671 (including roof rails) on 1.2 TSI and GreenLine II models
** 1,691 (including roof rails) on 2.0 TDI models

Although the brochure only shows LHD models, the dash trim on the 2WD Elegance is a nice brushed (?) silver effect (4wd is fake wood), and not the horrid sickly, sparkly brown trim that appeared on some of the launch models (although it is still showing as such on the configurator).

Just hope that that is the case on the UK spec models, otherwise will get mine covered in 3M brushed alloy vinyl.

why the weight is not given on page with dimensions...

If true, then as all SE and Elegance models are fitted as standard on 17" 225/50 wheels/tyres, arch gap/ride height will therefore be 1" less on 1.2 TSI's than the Greenline, which rides on a 16" 205/55 set up. 225/50 and 205/55 tyres give almost identical sidewall depth, with the 225s having marginally the lower profile.

So the Greenline does not have lower profile tyres, just narrower.

Very interesting!

PS: should please NickP!

I'm assuming that the interior of the FL has not changed from the Classic (apart from maybe materials/finish) and if so I should have a spare silver trim from a Classic Elegance soon. My car is at the dealers, picking it up on Thursday. It may or may not have the non-UK optional wood effect trim fitted by then, all my dealer will say is that it's on order. Once the new trim has arrived and been fitted I have no need for the standard silver effect trim and so your welcome to it if you think it will fit.

That is so kind. That means I can change it over as soon as I get it home (assuming has the brown trim). Let me know postage although I am more then happy to pay you for it.

PM me when you know and I will send postage costs.

I'll call the dealer tomorrow to make sure they keep it if the new trim arrives before Thursday and once I have it in my possession I'll pm you to arrange delivery (no charge for the trim).

Many thanks.

Don't expect the brochure to be any more accurate than the SUK website info for the FL or indeed the configurator. With the L&K Outdoor for instance, apart from the LED rear lights, the heated windscreen and the colour of the roof rails apparently cornering fog lamps are only available as an option on an SE and not available on other trim levels.

When I get a minute I'm going to go through the three information sources in a bit more detail. How impressed will newcomers to the marque be with all the misinformation.....? Can the dealers provide any more clues to the standard equipment and options? I pity them!

Been lurking on the site and reading up on the Yeti for a while so i thought i had better join up.

This afternoon i ordered a 2.0tdi Outdoor 140 dsg L&K in Silver with brown leather  and added the Spacesaver spare wheel.

It's so irritating they'll only let you order red leather with SE and not Elegance. This makes no sense whatsoever. :(

Your post isn't very clear, so I hope I'm inferring correctly here, but I think you're complaining you can't spec cornering fog lamps as an option on any model apart from SE? Elegance and L&K have bi-xenons with cornering function, rendering cornering function via fogs redundant. I guess you could enable it in addition if you wanted via VCDS.

Couple of points/questions:

- Cool sports seats are optional on the SE

- You can now choose Alcantara on the Elegance, think this wasn't possible before?

- Pity sports seats can't be trimmed in leather or alcantara

- DAB not available on Columbus?

Up to now the cornering fogs have been a standard item on L&K and Elegance-you can turn them on and off on the maxidot so the fact you cannot specify them as options is because they are already specified. The brochure often fails to achieve clarity and that aspect of SUK's efforts is a shambles. Few sales staff have ever bothered to acquire the level of product knowledge which I would expect of a professional, but It is hard to blame them for lack of training-the fact is that sales are there whether earned or not. The yeti has sold itself without proper information being available, except here.Cornering fogs do a different job from the bi-xenons-they operate at low speeds for gateway entry and car park speeds-the xenons operate (brilliantly) to illuminate bends ahead at open road speeds.

My point is that there are a number of discrepancies between the SUK FL brochure, the info on the FL Yeti on the SUK website and the SUK configurator.

So for instance, according to the SUK brochure:

Page 28 L&K Outdoor - Standard equipment (over Elegance) states that silver roof rails are standard.

Page 30 Factory Fitted Optional Equipment says that silver roof rails are not available on an Outdoor and that 'Part silver' (ie black and silver) roof rails are only available on an Outdoor as an option on all trim levels bar the S. From the brochure, by process of elimination, that would mean that all black roof rails are standard on everything!

Page 30 says that cornering front fog lights are an option on the SE but 'not available' on other trim levels (using their key to the guide).

Page 26 says that cornering fog lamps are standard on the Elegance (and therefore, by default the L&K).

On the configurator and SUK website info there is no mention of LED rear lights or heated front windscreen being standard equipment on the L&K but both are shown as standard equipment on Pages 29 and 30 of the brochure.

Incidentally, both Elegances I have owned have had bi-xenons with cornering function above a certain speed and cornering fog lamps below that speed. I see no reason why the FL should be any different in that respect.

I'm not interested in what is VCDS configurable - I'd just like to be able to read about and configure a car from a manufacturer's official, public domain sources and come away knowing what equipment is actually fitted as standard. I have a reasonable idea because I've owned two Yetis - the first one possibly being the first CR170 in the UK, so I have a bit of time served. As I said, new folk don't stand a cat in hell's chance of sussing out the true equipment level as far as I can see.

Surely that isn't too much to ask for?!

I would have loved Alcantara trimmed Sports seats in my new FL Elegance. I had them in my previous Yeti Urban (standard equipment), and originally optioned them in my FL SE. However, changed order to an Elegance and have gone for the black Alcantara interior.

Both options would be great as you say, but out of the two, I think the Alcantara just pips it.
