Strange Torque steer problem

Featured Replies

Anyone know any good wishbone replacement bushes? Don't know if powerflex do them, but I'm seriously wanting a set a.s.a.p, preferably before my subframe, etc goes back on my car.

Jason, Powerflex do bushes for the Mrk 3 and Mrk 4 Polo, I assume they'd fit the Fabia.

Jason doesn't have wishbones on the car though :D

it raising a bit anyway as i keep hitting the bumper on the floor when going up drop curbs/speed bumps and also when driving in an enthusiastic manner the corner can rub on the ground :o

think i need some stiffer ARB's and strut braces

Recently' date=' the car has started suffering from torque steer-like symptoms. that it never had before, even on the motorway, in 6th, if you accellerate, the car will begin to pull over to the left.. the more throttle, the more it pulls... usually accompianed by a judder on the steering wheel (depending on speed)

at first i thought it was the dogbone mount, as it seemed to be a bit weak... ive changed it and its made no difference.

i also had a full 4wa alignment done on the car.. and apart from the toe (which was corrected) there wasnt much else wrong.

the bushes have all been visually inspected and seem ok too.

you have classic symptoms - One of your track rod ends is worn
