Nice choice goldfish, nice to know me and dalelfc89 are not the only 'weirdo's' who like the meteor grey, well enough to order it anyway lol.

Check with your dealer pal but mine said it was only after a certain week and its not been confirmed by anyone else yet so I'd just check with them.

Also I ordered my estate just over 2 weeks ago, after originally ordering a hatch a month ago, and I've got no info other than he showed me my order on the system yesterday, still sitting in stage one and awaiting a build date.

Yeah, the poster has named the first batch of piccys as Steel Grey but, that is most definitely Meteor Grey!

HI Guys/Gals, new here as currently looking for a replacement for my current car (59 plate BMW 330D), have been considering ordering the Octavia VRS Estate TDI DSG so went up to my local(ish) dealer today to have a look at what they had and lo and behold they had a few colours in stock (including Meteor Grey which I like), managed to get a few pictures, not the best I will admit as the Fluorescent lights washed out the colour somewhat. It was a pretty well specced car with leather/heated seats, Amundsen Nav, Sunset, Panoramic roof, Black Pack.

 

Ideally I was looking for Cloth seats, Cruise, Sunset and Black pack (Do not want Nav as too many chavs around where I regularly visit some of my family and the VW/Audi/Skoda nav systems tend to go walkies!!)

 

Also noticed it was missing its rear "VRS" badge!

 

Some on here might know me from mk5golfgti.co.uk forum As previous to the 330D I had a stage 2 Candy White Edition 30 (User ID. is tamiyoman)

Picking up my Meteor Grey combi tomorrow. Have seen it in the flesh today when I went to complete the paperwork and it looks great with the black-pack and grey piping on the seats, not red. I've had 18" BBS SR Himalayan satin grey winter alloys and Nokian tyres fitted and they look good too. Getting quite excited now, as ordered it the last week in July!

Hopefully collecting mine this week as well, just waiting confirmation from the lease company, since ordering mine mid September only seen 2 on the road black and white and only blue in the show rooms.

Not quite as many extras as you, heated seats, cruise and keyless but really looking forward to the extra 50 bhp over my current Reno.

The dealer I'm getting it from had another, already sold. Lowered, wheel spacers, tweaked they reckon to about 200bhp, she looks lovely!

Factory ordered the same colour tdi dsg estate but with red interior. I was told that it was in transit before Christmas.

Shouldn't be long then! Mine has the red accents on the seats too.

Be interested to hear feedback on the Canton

I do like it but sticking with race blue on my order I think.

I wonder how easy it is to sell on a meteor grey car in a few years time. If it falls out of fashion, it might affect the residual value and possibly make it difficult to shift!

Just got back from collecting her. Just the one pic taken inside as the weather was awful today.

 

 

Just did a quick 20 mile pootle around to get the feel and although its very early days, I'm very pleased.
