Can computer display speed in kmh in centre, not the small one at bottom

Featured Replies

Can I get the vcds to re code the mfd to display speed in kmh in centre. I am in Belgium for next 3 years and have UK car. I realise there is the small kmh at bottom of maxidot in centre but very hard to read.

You certainly can.

Thanks any pointers please? :)

I'm not a VCDS expert but I think it's just a case of setting the country code. Hopefully someone will be along to tell you which modules need changing.

I think changing it to Republic of Ireland does it. Enjoy Belgium, are you getting into shape?

It is not on the list for mfd. is there a module in vcds just for mfd please?

What car does the OP have?

Isn't the display in the UK supposed to be in Km/h as the speedo dial shows mph?

Setting the car to 'Australia' enables the Mph display to be activated.

Going from a UK car to Australian requires a combination of VCDS initially to change country code and then Maxidot to change settings to display Km/h.

Has the OP looked at the instructions on activating the Mph display and tried reversing these up to the point if needing VCDS?
