Switchable Twin Accessory Sockets

I wanted two cigar lighter type sockets which I could turn off independently.

I have seen a thread on here showing a cigar lighter splitter mounted inside the coin box but the twin switchable socket with USB I purchased would not fit in there and would have resulted in too much space being taken up.

The solution I have come up with is to mount the unit on the top of the coin box holder, if you look you will find that there is quite a large gap once the door is opened. There is also plenty of clearance in that place.

It is quite easy to reach the switches whilst driving but does require the coin box door to be opened 1st.

The accessory plugs do need to be pushed in before refitting the holder though that is no hardship, it may even be possible to reach the back from underneath but there should be no need.
