Had a skoda for years so the car came first only recently discovered Internet and glad i stumbled upon Briskoda!

Had already decided on my Octy Mk 1 (great car) before finding Brisky, whilst Googling for an owners club 'cos I was so pleased with it.

Since joining, have now moved on to a Superb, another terrific, vastly under-rated car in my opinion, which again I love. So glad I opted for one of the last 1.9 PD130s though ( mainly, I have to admit, for company car tax/Co2 emission reasons), particularly given the current DPF issues with the 140 being so vividly documented via poor Stuart J's experiences.

Discussions with Skoda UK? I'm intrigued. Do tell them my concerns about how their reactions to the Superb DPF problems could seriously dent confidence in Skoda as a marque to be reckoned with ............ and that's from a real Skoda fan's perspective.

Driving skodas since 96 so car first then Briskoda, I consider myself akin to a troll here as I own neither Octavia nor Fabia

Blimey where did this thread come from?!

Another ex VWVortexer, so definitely car first.

Back on Brisky this year after a slight hiatus.
