I came across Briskoda when I was looking for my next company car, and having read the reviews and enjoyed the banter on Briskoda, I went for an Octy vRS estate.

Just thought I would ask the question of the other Skoda owners on here.....

Did you buy a Skoda and then join Briskoda, or was it joining Briskoda that helped you choose a Skoda?

Stumbled across Briskoda about a year after buying my first Skoda - a 1.9 tdi comfort fabia..

Think I found it on a google search while looking for mods for my furby...

Briskoda only had a handfull of Fabia owners on board in those days!..

For me, i actually joined briskoda after being pointed over here from SCN.. i was looking into buying an Ibiza TDi sport.. Buying the vRS was an impulse, i went into the dealer and it was just a much better package than the ibiza.. so i ordered one on the 12th september 2003.. and started hanging round here a bit more...

now look at me now... hopelessly addicted

I bought my car on the 22nd of February 2003..*sniff sniff*...yes, I remember the bloody day I bought it too, because I was a happy boy. It was only in January this year that I came across Briskoda looking for mods, and here I am.

I have had my car for 3 years now and have only found this wonderful site now.

I think all the originals came from Vortex. A place of our own we used to call it.

Signed up when I was looking into REAL opinions and experiences with the Skoda Fabia vRS - convinced me that it was a decent car, and what things to tell SWMBO about it to convince her too Ordered the car as soon as I got back from the US

Another Vortex member here, discovered vwvortex when looking for info on the symphony headunit.

Dad had his car when i found Brisky we signed in under me as "rpallett" now since then his got a superb, mums got octy and iv got my furby!

i still miss the clio for pure chuckability on those excellent roads.. was cool seeing how a 1.2 clio sport could keep up with a fabia with twice the power on the proper twisies... i just couldnt overtake anything as quickly as you

I already had a good idea that I wanted an OCty vRS when I signed up here but the recommendations and reviews from all on this board cemented the decision in my mind. After about 2 weeks or so of signing up on here I bought my vRS and have never looked back

Toxxin pointed me this way when i said I liked the look of the Fabia vRS. I was thinking of getting an Ibiza Sport as I worked at SEAT at the time.

I found Briskoda on Google whilst looking for owners reviews of the Fabia Vrs. It swayed me to take the plunge and buy the car (not that I needed much swaying) and now I spend far too much time on here, spend far too much money on mods, and far too much time driving the car. I have done 7k in a month and a half, I live above my shop and havent made any really neccessary journeys. All pointless, but very enjoyable miles.

Now who else do I know who had a White octy 4x4 estate with a Briskoda sticker in the back.

Auto Express greatest drives led me to find out about the Furby, drove one at the dealer then Google led me here.

So drove first but owned second.
