Jase's e90 BMW

Featured Replies

Looks tidy - was thinking that the spoiler was too big for the boot until I realised it was actually the roof above your neighbours front door

The wheels have definitely improved the appearance

  • But as long as he drives with his seat anything like upright then he won't look like a Hackney badboi... Presumably it's taxed insured and MOT'd and the same can't be said about the urban gangstas f

  • Beat me to it again Richard... LOLOL

Concrete spoiler :)

The black improves the look of the front so much. Looks good.

Starting to look really nice now mate

Subtle mods, but really effective

As above, looks lovely! The spacers were needed, it didnt look too bad on these wheels but the boggo 16's they come with look so tiny and inboard on this shape. Like the black touches too! Top work.

Fair play Jase you have made some nice touches to this motor nice OEM+ feel to it, looks loads better.

Thanks for the comments

New thermostat and clean today and better pics

Just caught up with this - looking good :)

I quite like the wheels and mini spoiler although one a similar size to the vRS spoiler would have been cool - body coloured too maybe?

Yeah i messed up, i should have got it body coloured!

The reason i went with black was so it didnt need a paint shop to get the match!

In hindsight i should have went with the bmw performance spoiler (deeper than m3) and got it colour coded

Why oh why couldn't you have turned up on saturday

:(

Bumper is on!

Difficulty was not too bad. I couldn't stare at it any longer and had to fit it.

Did it from start to finish in 2 hours with a headtorch on my drive in the pitch black.

You lose a bit of the air ducting going to the front brakes. But on a 320d i hardly think its the end of the world

It was a bit fiddly but overall not too bad

Anyways a picture (ignore the numpty standing beside it)

Best pictures i could get with this naff weather an a crumby iphone.

Might have to go 18" wheels too :(

Looks good Jase, but that's one thing that did strike me about the wheels, because of the extra 'presence' of the bumper.

Especially at the leading edge by the wheel arch with the 17s and that offset perhaps.

Ive bought some 20mm spacers so going to put them on the rear and move the 15's up front :)

The alloys im interested in will work with this spacer setup too so we will see what the 17's look like first

Yes is a great shame.

It was a minter, i went to have a look at it on the forecourt. Alloys all smashed in from kerbs and it was wearing budget tyres. I was actually mad for some reason as i took so much pride in it.

New mod

Rear 15mm spacers swapped to the front and new 20mm spacers on the rear. Actually looks a lot better

its understandable though, id be sickened if i saw any o my previous cars again after being mis treated or poorly cared for, as i always do my best to mind my cars. reckon the octy is in better nick now than when i bought it 2 yrs ago...

Lovely clean rims Jase.

Gave it a service

£250 for oil / oil fiter and airfilter at bmw

Cost to me £42, no brainer

Airfilter was apparently changed when i bought it 9k miles ago ( i think not )

This is why i prefer to do things myself, garages cannot be trusted.

I can see why they couldn't be arsed mind you as airfilter change on a 320d is a 2 hour job!

All this gubbins has to come off

New filter

Goes considerably better now! Actually a lot better. Difference in pick up is night and day.

Bmw's way to justify service costs, that filter looks hanging - the car looks good :)
