Featured Replies

car failed mot today on inside rear tyres (personally i think they are legal)

but in better news instead of buying new tyres i bought new wheels :)

bought these in 18" staggered set-up, haven't seen them before on an e90 so hopefully look nice and fresh

The wheels have definitely improved the appearance

  • But as long as he drives with his seat anything like upright then he won't look like a Hackney badboi... Presumably it's taxed insured and MOT'd and the same can't be said about the urban gangstas f

  • Beat me to it again Richard... LOLOL

Look smart on their own and think they will be equally good on the BM.

When's the fitment?

All depends on when they get here. Hopefully soon :D

Could be fri / sat / mon

New wheels look great :)

Looking less and less like a rep pusher with every change lol. Seriously though, good effort.

Waiting on bmw centres and will get better pics

Tidy. Very different from the stock ones but the style suits the car and the colour works too.

I didn't think I was going to like them TBH, but I do. Really suit the car.

Fair play Jase, wheels have totally transformed the look of your car now and for the better.

Better pics along with bmw centres

much better with the bmw centres!

Dilemma.

With the pending sale of my old alloys do i

A) buy an msport steering wheel

B-) buy msport alcantara seats (prefer to leather)

C) remap the wheelbarrow

D) save the cash as modifying is a waste of money

Edited by BigJase88

Take D straight off the list :D

Remap!

I'd say go for the seats if they're more hugging and grippy

My vote is get a remap for the wheelbarrow lol.

I am swithering between the seats and the steering wheel....

Also thinking just to save the cash

:o

Remap!

Wow the wheels have transformed the car, definitely looks sexy now :)

  • 3 weeks later...

I have done the unthinkable

I have RAISED my car!

But imo its for the better, ride is 10x better. I have went for msport springs.

Also painted the calipers and hubs

Now i know its not perfect but its a damn sight better than it was.

I may get it repaired properly in the future if it annoys me enough

Unlucky Jase, what happened?

You've done a pretty good job with the repair though :)

Cheers

Oh god knows - managed to scrape it on the wall on my driveway. There is no explaining how i did it. I've been on and off that drive a million times. Just a moment of insanity on my part.

Can't really explain it as theres no explanation. Just a genuine mistake. Maybe happen again in another million manouvers.

I didn't fancy spending hundreds to fix it so everything to do it cost me £36. Tbh its not a bad rattle can / blend job on the driveway lol
