Ordered 15th Aug, told on Thurs 19th Sept that it is provisional build week 48, may or may not come forward.

If so that means your order would be something like a 4 month delivery from order, that's worrying as mine was ordered 17th September and been told 12 weeks which takes it to middle of December, which I ll be happy as long as I have it before Christmas, I'm assuming the longer orders have something to do with spec choice which hopefully won't affect me as I ve ordered a standard car, unless there is shortage on silver paint or the silver stitching, ha

I honestly don't know what to think about how Skoda are handling all of this.

 

A week 48 build is the last week of November and will mean I might take delivery the week before Xmas.

 

Mine is a similar spec to Mike83, ordered at the same time but a totally different estimate of build date.

 

It will be the ACC, Columbus or Parking that is delaying my build and I would guess that the main culprit is either the ACC or the Parking.

Still not been given a provisional build week by dealer despite asking a few times. He just says they've it heard any reason for a delay. I'm thinking I should ring SUK to enquire... ?

Black Estate (SWMBO didnt like race blue) VRS petrol manual; adaptive cruise, park assist, gemini anthracite, maxidot colour and grey trim. Build week was 31(ordered first week in July) and dealer contacted me on the 18th September that the car had left the factory. Expected at dealer 28th September -2nd October

Hatch manual race blue -red stitch, black pack, winter pack, KEYSSY, mitsumi, Bluetooth+, privacy glass, spare wheel, Xtreme wheels ordered 5/8 supposedly built last week awaiting delivery to UK.

Petrol DSG hatch, Corrida Red, red stitching, Anthracite Geminis, cruise control, black pack, spare wheel, colour Maxi-Dot ordered 5th August, confirmed build week 40 on Friday, hopefully take delivery end of October.

just changed my spec a little adding the basic satnav & premium sound system.....

 

Octavia VRS hatch DSG TSI black pack, Amundsen, canton sound system.

Got a race blue manual hatch with kessy, canton, leather seats with red stitching, boot netting, colour maxidot and mitsumi. was going to be built week 46 then week 43 now its back to week 48...

Ordered 20th July. Confirmed build week 40. Delivery hopefully before end of october.

 

Manual diesel estate. Race blue. Amunsden, canton, spare wheel, standard cruise, grey stitching, bluetooth plus, mitsumi, park assist.

 

Wanted to add leather on but order was locked out. Slightly disappointed about that but obvs wasnt meant for me lol.

Nothing wrong with Sky Blue PInk! 

Saw a blue 13 plate octy vRS III in Exmouth this afternoon.  First one I have seen on the road.  For some reason I wondered if it was ex-demo or something as I wasn't expecting there to be any until the 63 plates came out?

Mine was ordered at almost the same time after initially ordering a hatch first week of August. Been in the dealers today about my wife still waiting for her PID for her Citigo and they've told me my car is confirmed for week 41 now.

I've contacted SUK about the wife's PID so will confirm my build date when they call me back.

I'm quite happy to wait the dealer quoted time of "12 weeks" (week 45), but if it's delayed beyond that, I'll be looking for compo, be it monetary or aftermarket accessories.

vRS Estate Diesel DSG in Candy White, with Black Pack, Colour Maxi-Dot, Variable Boot Floor, Standard Cruise, Red Stitching, Canton, Sunset Glass, Spare Wheel, ordered last week 20/9 dealer quoting standard 12 weeks, but hopefully next couple of weeks get something more definate, so might be around Xmas, but suspect January, also been told I was the first one to order a mk 3 vRS from the dealer as well!

I spoke to SUK today and they confirmed it is currently week 41 but not yet locked down. They said they expect it to be locked in at 41 by the end of this week and said they would call me back to confirm.

I'll let you know when they give me a definite answer :-)

I've been looking for this thread couldn't remember where I'd posted on this lol.

Not to upset you anymore or make you get any more extras pal ;-) but I got a call last week off SUK to confirm my build date was locked down for this week. Lloyd, the nice chap from SUK said he'd call me back this week to confirm when the car had been built as well.

Back onto your post, how comes it gone all the way back to week 2, is it down to the ACC delays???
