I've seen them slightly cheaper on another website (£130 a pair), but, I'm not sure how upto date the site is.

So is the general consensus that the Uniroyal Rainsport 2 are the best ?

Rainsport 2's have been superseded by Rainsport 3's iirc, they are about £62 from Camskill Tyres in Fabia vRS size.

I believe postage is very very cheap,so call it £130 for a pair, plus £30 to have your local tyre place fit, balance,and put new valve in etc.

SWMBO loved the 2's but they always looked under-inflated due to the soft side walls, although the 3's are apparently better in this respect.

Which ever way you look at it, in my opinion they are bargains compared to the competition.

Rainsport 3's have go to be best bang for buck imo.

Hated the rainsports in my honest opinion. Thought the sidewalls were tremendously soft, yeh fair enough they're good in the rain, but that's about all they're good for. Save a few more pennies and buy pilot sport 3's or Eagle F1 Assymetric 2's, twice the tyre the rainsports are.
