Upgrading your DRLs to LED's - These work perfectly

So i recently took the plunge and upgraded my DRL's to LED's

After reading numerous threads on here i decided on a set that met 2 criteria:

1) Looked decent, like proper bulbs, not the ones that look like a micro chip with funny angles.

2) Didnt cost the earth!

I settled for a set of the above bulbs, there £22.50 with a free P&P and have a warranty/guarantee on them.

Received them next day and first impressions were great! There alot bigger than you think there gunna be! There allrox 1 1/2 inch long and 1 inch round.

Fitting was a doddle, took 30 seconds each (removing the plastic grill is the hardest bit!)

Fitted both and turned ignition on, absolutely no errors! Really nice white light and look brilliant when there off.

Woukd highly reccomend if changing the DRLs to LEDs.

P.s. ill get a picture up in a bit.

Same ones as I'm using and many others. Already linked in numerous threads. .. glad you're pleased.

Hi, GLENT54321 are these bulbs pure white , similar to Audi , Cit.DS3 etc, or do they have a blue tint , the reason I ask is that I purchased L.E.Ds  sold as pure white , but they have the horrible blue tint , the ones I have are not Cree bulbs.

These are Cree leds and are pure white. No blue tint. As far as i can see

They are pure white light. CREE don't give off a blue tint. You can get H11/8 CREE bulbs to replace the fog lamps too :D

Post #17 & 26 for pics. Is also a decent thread to read.

You can get the same bulb to replace the reverse light and they also do one with a red cover for the brake light. ..although I think you could use the white ones as the housing lens is red.

Hopefully this will show you the kind of light you get with the CREE bulbs

Please let me know if this does not work and I will remove it.

Think I'm going to take the plunge and buy a set of these as so many people have been happy with them.

I had a trial go at getting the grills of?

Is there a special technique or do you have to tug them hard (oooerr)??

I chickened out of pulling too hard but I did end up with quite a bit of blood on the car?

theres a technique...dont really know how to explain it but here goes:

Pull the grill so that it pops off slightly

Then pull the grill out by holding the closest edge to center of car and towards the light unit

A little wiggle was needed as well!

Once out the light is SUPER easy to get out, you'll feel the catch just inside the hole.

When putting the light back in, be sure it has clicked TWICE and be aware that you need to hook the outer edge of the light in to the frame.

Hope this helps
