  • Here's my Titancovers boot liner installed. I am quite chuffed with it, cut and fits well. I just need to fiddle with it to smooth out some of the creases. I got it from their eBay store, you get

  • Awwwwww loving the doggy photos guys here are my two after being linked to the push bike (the harnesses are so they cant choke themselves pulling it!) think we had just done about 8 miles

  • Be careful with the dog guard, we ordered one for our VRS Estate and the dealer called us as the technician fitting it was not happy about having to cut 4 holes in the headlining to fit it. We deceide

Has anyone got a recommendation for a 3rd party boot liner for the hatchback, without a carpet square in the centre.

Our dog. As you can see from my avatar he's a daft Lab letting my daughter put a cap on him.

Hatchbag all the way. I believe they have now got one for the mk3 but I believe it's only for the variable boot floor at the moment.

Mine is an estate liner but think they do hatch ones too - www.rhinouk.co.uk

My rear seat solution was made by the guys at rhinouk. It's a completely custom made 1 off order and was something that they hadn't done before with regards to raising it so the dogs could see out. They don't usually work with foam that thick, but they bought some in for me to make the cushion. They are a nice bunch and will make whatever you like (within reason) and will make sensible suggestions when it comes to design ideas.

Anyone tried the dog guard from the mk2?

Thanks, but that's not the sort that I'm after, I'm after the black rubber/plastic sort.

I'm sure I saw a skoda one in the accessorise list online somewhere.

Yeah you did but it's ~£60. That's a bit of a rip off afaic.

Sorry it's late , here's the picture. Notice the bumper guard.

Many thanks. Hope you are enjoying the car!

I got the rubber boot mat from superskoda for £44 including delivery, they're £65 from Skoda dealers.....

  • 1 month later...

Picked my new Mk3 Octavia VRS estate over 2 months ago expecting a dog guard fitted, it wasn't as they had forgotten! Came back a week later and waited 2 hours for it to be fitted, to then be told the tool they had to use to fit it was broken. Still waiting for this tool to be delivered to the dealer, so no dog guard for over 2 months now and they can not tell me when it will be delivered. The dogs are well fed up!

Anyone know a dealer that has the dog guard tool to do this job near to Lincoln?

Thanks, I have just ordered a black one form their Ebay site.

Should be really good for protecting the back of the car not just for the dog but tip runs as well.
