  • Right.   I gave myself a good talking to and popped out for a little bonding with the new car.   Holy moley it's even more bonkers than I remember the last ones being. Yes, they have worked a lot

Thanks guys, was nice of them to ask for some input.

Coming a bit late to the party here and this thread is now 65 pages! I'm not going to go back through all that but I think I need to track down a copy of Evo magazine that featured your cars. They look fantastic on the few pages I have looked at.

BossFox's comments on the McLaren were interesting...I think part of the fun is seeing what you can get out of the cars too, where as in the McLaren it's almost too easy?

I was also going to post this...Another skyline to preserve  - but looking back through a few pages it might be yours already Richard?!

Cheers,

Steve

If someone can remember which Evo edition it was, I'll scan it in

Surely must have been November or December 2016 based on the previous few posts?

cheers,

Steve

For some reason Ive not been getting updates and havent been on here that much anyway, thought  it was you in this months EVO but you only had 3 on last count, and I did not know you had had a Mclaren either, a bit economical with the truth saying you had a Yeti as a daily, ( some Yeti too! ) shame youre the other end of the country Id be youre best friend

I've been trying to keep a few things low key and not turn into a big show off.

Because I actually have 10 Skyline GT-Rs now.  7 R34s and 3 R32s....

I became aware that on the internet it's too easy to go on about what you are doing and it can turn into a bit of an ego trip, or look that way.

But yes Evo magazine contacted me to do a feature on the cars as they heard how crazy it had got.

And they were nice guys that came down.

Was a good article Richard. Did Evo say how they'd heard about you?

When they did the earlier little thing in Nov/Dec they wanted someone that had owned a few and contacted Harlow Jap Autos I bought ATTKD and Hosaka R34s from.

So HJA put them on to me.

After talking to me and doing that they realised it wasn't a normal thing where someone just changes cars often and has a couple, so decided it'd be a nice thing to put in the magazine with more info.

What an awesome piece of kit, thanks for sharing!

An amazing looking car and thanks for the additional information on the specs of it. It truly will be an absolute monster on the track and you've factory warranty with it so best of both worlds.

Wow. Just wow!

a thing of automotive beauty

Very nice Richard.

does the power delivery feel much different to the R34? Can you notice the 20 years worth of improvement?

Very very nice...   And stunning looks in that colour!

Congrats on the purchase - enjoy!
