Octavia II vRS seats, 18" Neptunes with Continental SC5s

Featured Replies

Was going to keep these to maybe put the car back to standard but not got enough space in my garage and need the cash!

vRS front seats: black leather and silver alcantara. Very good condition and a brand new seat base fitted to the driver's seat which cost me £85. REDUCED TO £225. Come from a 59 plate. I've put Audi A6 seats in after getting pain in my right leg from the bolster: thought it was because the bolster foam had collapsed a bit, so I replaced the seat base but still got the pain: my athletic physique just mustn't suit!

I may well be able to set of brand new estate rears to match (from NickP) for an extra £100.

18" Neptunes silver. Few cosmetic marks but generally good condition. Almost new pair of Continental Sport Contact 5s 1 with 7.3 to 8.4mm tread other with 7.6 to 8.3mm tread. Other tyres are Sport Contact 2s which do need replacing: on the wear bars. REDUCED TO £450

In Sheffield.

Pics to follow.

Pm'd you Dave.

DM'd you

Any postage on the seats?

  • Author

Can post the seats yes. I've got all the cardboard and bubble wrap packaging that my A6 seats came in so can use that.  I used Paisley Freight for the A6 seats which cost £46 for next day delivery I think.

  • Author

Btw the 46 was for front and rears. Will be cheaper for just the fronts.

Any postage on the seats?

Try Parcel 2 go

I sent 2 tyres to Rob ( W8 ) for £7

Any pics of the seats

Don't suppose you'd sell the rears for £75 would you, collected next week? It's only the driver's side rear seat that I'm after because I'm looking to substitute my leather rear seats with it to put a child seat on so that the leather isn't damaged.

Cheers

Pics of the seats.  As you can see I need some more room in the garage!

Statto: sorry the rear seats are not mine at the moment: another forum member has offered them to me as I  was thinking of getting mine retrimmed and then having a spare set to the return the car to standard if and when I sell it.

Let me know if the FL climate panel doesn't sell. I would be interested

  • Author

Sorry but I've already taken a deposit on the climatronic panel.

Are these seats still available?

  • Author

Yes seats still here. I've spoken to Nick who's got the rears and he's confirmed he's happy for let them go. So selling either fronts only or front and rear set. Interested?

Will the seats fit a mk1 fabia vrs?

Will the seats fit a mk1 fabia vrs?

Not without changing the subframes

Will the front seats fit a superb 2?

  • Author

Really not sure on the Superb fitment.  Can't see the rears fitting as the Superb will likely be wider  As for the fronts, it might be worth measuring the bolt spacings: just 4 bolts attach the seat subframe to the car (and 2 locating lugs).  I've fitted A6 seats to my Octavia which are a perfect fit (after grinding one lug off the A6 subframe) so could well fit a Superb.  If you are interested I'll measure the bolt spacing on the Octavia seats.

I am interested. Are you close to the Midlands by any chance?

Just read Sheffield in the first post.

Coming towards the Midlands at any time?

Depends what you call Midlands. Work in derby a little bit and there tomorrow afternoon. And in-laws in Nuneaton.

Anywhere near Warwick?

  • Author

Nuneaton, where the in-laws are isn't far from Warwick. Haven't got any plans to go there soon and busy most weekends with kids' sports stuff at the moment but in-laws are up here a lot and could possibly take them back to Nuneaton for you to collect if you were definitely taking the seats.

Sounds possible. Let's try to see if they will fit then and take it from there.

Seat on 2 rails. Bolt holes on each rail 365mm apart. Each rail centre 478mm apart. Rail towards centre of car (left rail on drivers side, right rail on passenger seat) has two locating lugs- back one a round pin centred 20mm in front of bolt hole centre, front one a rectangular peg centred 27mm in front of front hole centre.

My audi seats had 1 same and 1 different lug. I just ground of the 'wrong' one- 10 seconds with an angle grinder.

Hope that makes sense.
