Yesterday I collected my new toy - an Elegance Combi TDi 150 Manual in Candy White. I've added black mirror caps and replaced the chrome front grill with a black one from Superskoda, as well as having the standard alloys painted black.

So far I've done just over 200 miles, a mix of roads and motorways and I'm averaging 51mpg. VERY impressed - pulls well, very smooth, and a lot quieter than my VRS was!

I am selling a few accessories from my old FL VRS if anyone is interested, have a look in marketplace.

I was going to do it myself, I have in the past. However the dealer offered to do it for me when I mentioned I was going to do it, and at no cost, so of course I said yes! I believe the badges are usually fitted at the dealers as part of PDI, so if you ask early enough they won't be removed, just not fitted

Thanks! Not had a chance to try out it's full potential yet as I'm being gentle until she's "run in" - around the 1000 mile mark (750 to go!). Then I'll plug in my Tuning box (180hp allegedly!) and we'll see how it goes!
