First impressions are great! Engine is punchy, ride is great, rear legroom is surprisingly good. Needs a good clean, and then a plan of action.

    I know, i only found out a few days ago after posting photos of our white one on my fb page.

    And its about time! The Mk6 GTI was just so last year! ;)

     

    So now I have to buy something with a similar engine so I can get a trusted software map on it... Best of luck with it Ben. :)

    Do we assume the ECU is similarly locked down as the later MK2 models?

    Absolutely, the TSI is on our radar. Hopefully we'll have news soon on both cars :)

    Maybe - let's see what Ben comes up with for the new models - would be interesting to just get Sport mode mapped so that Normal and Eco stay as they are (if that is possible)

    I have the hatch on order (before Christmas if I am lucky) in black with black pack and so nice to see one in the flesh. Will be keeping an eye out for any mods you have up your sleeves.

    I do really like the look of the mk3, in fact this has led me to look at the Skoda Configurator :) glad I was sitting down when I got the final price :giggle:
