October 2013 brochure

Featured Replies

I can only imagine the throughput of their call centre right now with worried Octy purchasers!

If you have the current brochure (October) and any previous one, you can use DiffPDF which will put them side by side and highlight the differences!

This whole saga would make a good farce story.

Ok, SUK called me today and front armrest with storage is standard on VRS. The guy has looked at both brochures and queried it with the sales team and they've said it's an omission in brochure which they're sorry about.

I have just got a new estate SE spec, and it has no rear seat release handle in the boot as per the brochure. Very annoying as all the reviews over the summer state this being a new feature. Anyone else had this problem?

Did you factory order or from stock :wonder:

If factory I'd take it up with the dealer as not being to current market spec.

It was factory order so I will check dealer. Expect it can not be retrofitted

...but it also lists this as an £80 option!

This applies to the hatchback; the estate from SE trim up, is currently listed as having the boot rear seat release in all SUK media.

On the ByO configurator up to late October it was down as a automatically included cost free option, its now listed in the standard spec under safety, functionality, comfort.

Oh talking of the configurator I notice it's had a make over this week.

Regards,

I must try the configurator again, two days ago it was still allowing heated leather seats on a petrol vRS!

DC

I just tried the new & improved configurator and it still allows heated leather seats and heated windscreen with the TSi vRS.

Now either SUK have changed (Moved) the goal posts again or someone behind the scenes doesn't know WTF they're offering & doing.

There's going to be some very upset people if that's correct.

If I had gone for the petrol vrs and found out that they were now offering the heated screen I'd be going ballistic.

The big question is: Can the heated windscreen be retrofitted?

I have just looked at the Skoda UK car configurator page and guess what?

The heated front screen is back on the options list for vRS TSI......

Discuss.

Skoda are clueless.

Skoda are clueless.

It does appear that the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.

I have the brochure that was current when I placed my order - if Lane Assist is missing when it arrives then my dealer (and he knows who he is) is going to have a rejected vehicle on his hands.

I'm with Juancarr on this!

I dropped Canton from my options as the costs were mounting up when I ordered on 3rd Sept. If i discover any of my options are missing there will be hell to pay. Esspecially as i have just tried to get Canton added this week only to be told I am too late as my build date is week 47.

Interestly options inc heated sreen on Tsi vrs. Although looking at the august brochure tonight it did actually state not an option on tsi. However the factory has accepted the build as ordered according go my dealer.

All I can think of saying is SUK are JuanCarrs!

Further to my posting on seat release handles on estate. Dealers taking this up with Skoda, seems it was a incorrect build !

Waiting to see what they are going to do about it, can't be fitted now.
