Missing Members?

Featured Replies

Bobdog's unexplained absence has been noted and commented on in various posts but he's not the only absentee.  Speedsport was posting frequently until 7 August, and he last went offline on 9 September; anything known?  Has anyone missed any others of the 'pioneer' generation recently?

  • I have now been in correspondence with Bob and I am sorry to say that it is extremely unlikely we shall see his return here. I have been told the reason, but as I wish to remain a member I shall not s

  • Been in contact with Bobdog, and he has not been affected by the storm surge in Norfolk, luckily.

  • One of the reasons I thought he should have his corner to keep those of us that enjoyed it amused and those that didn't to avoid it.

Bring back Lady P and Bob they made me :giggle: , just been looking at the first few pages of the yeti forum 2009-2010, a lot of the members from the early days are still looking in but not posting.

This alas is the way "Car specific" Forums evolve. Many original posters move on, either through boredom or changing their car.You have the diehards who are regular contributors (list too long to name) and you have the Newbies who when first buying are never away from the Forum.Life goes on but on the whole the "regular" contributors on Briskoda are a Excellent bunch of Guys/Girls.

All true but I have  been a bit anxious about Bobdog-I hope he is OK and if anyone who actually knows him could let us know.......

I strongly suspect that Bob left as a result of the complaints about innuendo.

Bob, if you're reading this, and want an innuendo, I'll give you one.

As a newbie I rather liked the innuendo and the ability to 'think out of the box'.

It was amusing and I'm sure that it was not offensive.

Come back Bobdog.

There's a bobdog active over on the thenorfolkbroads.net forum.

His location is the same - 'People's Republic of North Norfolk' and given http://www.thenorfolkbroads.net/forum/index.php/topic/4271-strong-wind-warning/ I'm pretty sure it's the same bobdog.

Its certainly a Bobdog post  ,  and the picture i'm sure is the same as one posted on here  :wonder:

I've registered there, so will try to contact him.

He ought to know he has been missed- I am relieved since so many keel over in retirement!

Your trying to contact someone who is no longer among you.  Norfolk is pretty close to the other side.

Someone thinks they may be able to get a message across the other side...

Now all you need is a yeti size ouija board to gather around.

I'm still here, and I'm aiming for a post count of 1000 posts a year, but I'm falling short.

That means I will have to make up the count by posting drivel, sarcasm, incorrect information, duplicate posts, and offensive comments.   :D

Just watch my warning post count overtake my post count  :notme:

(only joking )

Well spotted brxmy. It must be one and the same, especially with the comments made.
