new wheels......studs?

Featured Replies

Bought a new set of wheels for my pickup today not thinking that the wheel studs I have would be too short now I'm stuck!!

They're BSA 15 inches by any chance would anyone know what bolts I would need as I'm new to cars, bike are more my cuppa ;)

I believe standard bolts are radius seat bolts as I had a similar situation with alloys for my felly

cheers for that fella ;)
appreciate it, did you have to use hubcentric spacers or were yours ok?? will have to try get mine to atleast mount and check for clearance before i buy as i dont wanna eat my arches haha

had to get 9.5 mm ones for the back wheels as they just rubbed on a hose

fronts were fine........... so longer bolts for the rear, shorter on the front

Yes. Standard ones ar radiused M12 x 1.5 from memory (check www.wheelfitment.eu).

Many aftermarket wheels use 60 degree tapered/conical bolts and if so you can get a set from the magik wheels ebay shop or other places in various lengths.  They also sell conical tuner bolts and locking kits.

You could always get a set of standard conical ones including locking ones from a scrapyard with a dead Renault Clio as long as you're looking for tapered bolts.
