What's best to clean matte black paintwork with? I always get streaks and swirly marks on it after never looks clean.

A black board rubber? :)

Are you letting the water dry on the paint? A quick detailer and a drying towel should help you :)

Microfiber towel should do the trick

I would contact whoever put it on; manufacturer, resprayer etc and ask them.

I know BMW put a lot of restrictions on what you can do to their £1700 matt black paint option when it comes to cleaning it.
