ANYONE KNOW HOW TO REMOVE THIS PART OF THE ARMREST?

I don't think it does come off, it fits to the piece that attaches to the transmission tunnel with one bolt through it. iirc

Im fitting this to my fabia, so your saying I don't need to remove it?

Has the Fabia got a piece of bracket sticking up between the seat?  This fits over it and one bolt holds the two bits together.

 

 I have thrown mine away so can't go and have a look.

I've removed the bottom part and unscrewed the part that sticks out past the base but it doesn't seem to come off? Surely it comes off?

Have a look half way down this thread on the MK 4 forum, shows both top and bottom bits.

Have you removed the screw from the bottom of the part you are trying to remove? 

 

I have done the same thing so had to remove that too, take the screw out and then use a hammer to knock the bit off 

Yeah have removed the * screw at the bottom, I will try that haha
