Octavia II 2.0 TDI : Can someone kindly tell me what VAG DTC fault code "04805" represents (nder the SRS menu). I've ran a diagnostic check with a 3rd party CAN-Bus reader and its come up with this number. It also found" 00655" which I have found on http://wiki.ross-tech.com as "Seat Belt Tensioner Igniter Passenger Side (N154) Electrical fault" but 04805 is not listed.

 

Also if anyone has had the seat-belt tensioner Igniter problem and found how to fix it then that would also be great information.

You need to get the car scanned with VCDS to find out more. It could be related to the wiring under the seat, which is a common fault.

thanks for the advice trundlenut .. it would be good if there's someone out there who could point me in the direction of the 04805 error code...

It may be a duff code, it has come up before without resolution. That's why I suggested VCDS.
