Autobrite Direct - 12 Days of Christmas inc Snow Foam offers

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

Seen a few detailing offers up and about (seem to be buying one of each atm :giggle: )

Can't see that anyone has flagged this up on here and it's a bit low key on their website

Autobrite Direct https://www.autobritedirect.co.uk have their 12 Days of Christmas offers up online at the moment.  Just click into the sale section and you will get all the Christmas discount products.

Loads of products on for half or less than normal price, and this is on their bestsellers and detailing staple supplies not shifting old unwanted tat.

http://www.autobritedirect.co.uk/index.php/exterior-cleaning/snow-foam/mega-magifoam-hd-foam-lance-kit.html - Awesome Snow Foam deal I have just bought, better than the DW Group buy IMO as you get all the coloured foams (if you are sad like me and like that sort of thing)

I've just spent more than I meant to and filled up my kit bag :bandit:

I can't.... just bought myself a prezzie, can't justify another so soon before Xmas :giggle: :(

Yes you can......I did

I am sat on an Autoglym Box Set, Meg's Box Set and over a £100 of AB Direct

and it's not like I have no detailing gear at home

 Glad I'm not the only one who can't stop spending at the minute :giggle:

It's a genuine affliction.

I think that Briskie should do the sensible thing and start a support group. :)

If it makes you feel any better, I am such a ridiculous human being I even bought wheel decon and seal products I can't even use until Spring as I am currently running winters which have been plastidipped :wall:

I'm clearly a touch special

My order arrives at lunch :)

 Loving the DPD 1 hour window for delivery, also apparently the delivery driver's name is Dave, not sure why they need me to know this.

Yodel, MyHermes et al, pay close attention to how it should be done

When did you order? I ordered some stuff last night (thanks for this expensive thread, btw!)

You are most welcome

Ordered after hours (5:30pm) Tuesday - e-mailed Mark@autobrite on a few things that evening and got a response that evening

Added to order on Wed morning as they were processing it, shipped that day

Due to arrive today at 1-2pm.

It's more or less a next day service if you order at a sensible time

I have no affiliation to AB Direct other than as a customer and my unbiased opinion is that they offer a great service, they have a dedicated forum where you can get a response direct from the manufacturer/supplier on any product queries you may have (worth signing up if you plan to order), they are active on DW and seem genuinely interested in talking to their customers.  Good pricing normally but frequently have excellent deals.

Very friendly, great service and clearly enthusiasts.

Can you tell I'm impressed with them.

Only gripe for me is paying postage - for this reason my business will going forward most likely be split between Autobrite and Cleanyourcar who also have a good service and are based only a few miles from me in Huddersfield so I can collect.

Saw a DPD driver yesterday driving along in the thick fog with his phone to his ear! Why do they do that when their livelihood, presumably, depends on them having a driving licence.

I too hate it when you get through to checkout and realise you haven't factored in a postage cost. Maybe thats something you could organise with Autobrite a free postage code for brisky FREEDOM members. Thats assuming your a regular customer with a track record of purchases. Its pointless me asking as i have only purchases twice from them. I would do more if it was free postage though.

 Hi Scribbler,

I think this is a 'no' can do given that we will most of us be taking advantage of the sale items at 50/60% discount in the sale anyway and I think it's a case of you get what you pay for - ie great service and next day delivery.  Also during the 12 days of Christmas sale they shut down offers like the DW10 code for 10% discount.

I have mostly phoned my orders through and only just set up my account online (2 orders in 24 hours though), still I expect compared to the guys with detailing businesses I am small fry compared to them business wise.  Plus I used up any credits I may have as a customer in asking if they had any samples they could throw in with my order.  'cause I'm a cheeky sod.

sorry guys, looks like time might have run out on this

Not very happy with Autobrite! I ordered the same day as you sparkly and my stuff still hasn't arrived. I pay £6 for delivery you don't expect it to take two weeks. I phoned them up and had a very unapologetic woman say it will be with me tomorrow. She seam perplexed why i would ask for my delivery to be refunded. :wall: .

I will stick to shinerama next time.

That's not good.

I would send them an eMail detailing your problem and the unapologetic woman's response to your query

She said the delay was understandable seeing as its christmas! wtf. I would think less people clean cars in winter. Obviously us die hard obsessives are still out there every weekend. But i can't understand why Sparkly got his next day and mine is 8 days and counting. I can't be arsed with sending an email i will vote with my feet and go elsewhere in future.

I've had a similar issue. I ordered the £50 magifoam offer last Friday (13th) and heard nothing so phoned Autobrite on Tuesday. I spoke to a woman who was very polite and assured me my order would be dispatched on Wednesday for Thursday (today) delivery. As it happens, I'm off work today and the weather is awful so am sitting in anyway, but guess what? - no email or delivery notification from carrier as expected so I phoned Autobrite.

Man on phone: "very busy, will definitely be dispatched today and with you tomorrow (Friday)"!

I don't really think this is good customer service considering I paid £6.50 for carriage and 'could' have taken a day off work for nothing. Might well be my first and last purchase from Autobrite.

+1

All i can say is this has never been the case for me when ordering from them, I am sure they had a big hike in demand with the sale which if you look at there forum had a lot of people putting in orders up to £30000 etc and perhaps I got lucky that because I was in contact and mithering them at the time (exchanged phone calls and e-mails with Mark the owner) that mine was sent out when it was.  As per my pic, mine was a substantial box and I think my postage paid was more than fair given what it probably cost to send.

Sometimes things do go wrong, the more dissapointing thing, that I suspect has coloured the experience for you more than anything is the response you received to your contact.

I can only expect that an e-mail sent to them in the right tone explaining things might elicit an apology, with a small chance of a goodwill gesture.

Sorry to hear all the same, for me good products good company but we all can only go off our personal experiences

Edit: just to be clear I have no links or ties to Autobrite other than being a customer, had hoped I was posting up something useful by way of the deals for you guys, sorry to those that have had delivery issues.

I'll probably (hopefully) be all humble pie and forgiving tomorrow when my order arrives, and am still very grateful for being made aware - cheers Sparkly!

Your heads up on the deal was still apreciated even though the experience ive had was poor. I know your in no way affiliated with them and thanks again for the link.
