Didn't notice when ssfan left to be honest.

 

If they don't then it may require an additional adaption, as you had to do the left and right hand sides separately as per the link in the first post.  Unfortunately everything is in German and there must be over 100 possible adaptions listed in the controller, so unless we have someone proficient auf Deutsch it could be a little tricky.

 

No label file was available for the long coding in the controller so no chance of doing/checking it that way.  I will send a copy of the autoscan results to Ross Tech and see if they can work their magic.

 

I also noticed that when you do an autoscan or access the infotainment controller the radio can't be turned off.

Just checked, they do both come on when I put it in reverse which is not a bad idea especially when you are reversing out of a tight spot and the front swings at a large angle!

That's great to hear the full corner fog can be enabled

 

When mine eventually turns up I'd be grateful if someone with the VCDS could enable this system.

Just follow the link in the first post - using google translate of course.  The only issue was the list of adaptions in VCDS is very long and all in german, so you need to scroll about three quarters of the way down the list to find the two relevant entries - make sure they are exactly right:

 

The adaptions are done in the central electrics controller (09).

 

Select:

 

(5) Leuchte12NL LB45-Lichtfunktion B12

 

then:

 

(5) Leuchte13NL RB5-Lichtfunktion B13

 

and change them respectively to:

 

Abbiegelicht links anpassen

Abbiegelicht rechts anpassen

 

You need to use the access code of 31347 before going into adaptions or the adaptions won't take.

 

You also need to turn off the ignition, remove the keys and start the car for the adaptions to take effect.

I am afraid I my total input in the whole process was to unplug the lead after it was all done! Trundlenut did his magic on his laptop and then it all worked .... well, once I turned the headlights on LOL

Excellent. I'll be after a hand with this once mine arrives. I'd miss cornering fogs having liked them for five years now.

Neily03 now has cornering fogs on his vRS.
