Finally got round to getting my new spoiler fitted to my superb and after a wash and here are the results.

Very nice I am looking to fit the same to my car. Was that the genuine Skoda Spoiler or the one from Superskoda

Thanks mate, yes It was the genuine skoda accessory, and to be honest I am glad I bought this one as it fits properly and no problems in ordering as they are available.

I pick up my new Superb 4x4 DSG in Feb and I have asked the dealer the cost of supplying, painting and fitting of the spoiler, so at the moment I am waiting on him getting back to me. I also like this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121062809233?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

Not a problem, bearing in mind I am in the trade at a Skoda dealership. the spoiler was £130 (cost price) and to have it painted was a further £80 inc fitting, Sounds a little expensive but I think it just finishes the rear of the car of.

Thank you for sharing I would be happy with that price, as I said before I am waiting on my dealer to get back to me so that they can do it as part of the PDI.

Funily enough ive not realy thought about it but just looked at the rear of the car and the window is clean compaired to the rest of the tailgate.

did you ever get that price rob?cheapest ive seen is £162 delivered.

The delay is because I am using a 3rd party car supplier. If he doesn't get back to me soon I am going to get the one from superskoda as it is only 89 euros and I will get it painted and fitted else where, his loss.

is your car built then? mine is this week,or so they say lol.......

It must be built as I have been given a chassis number and registration number, just waiting on the PDI being done and the extra work e.g tow bar being fitted.

Got a price today of £367.50 that the spoiler, painted & fitted which I think is not to bad, however I was quoted £472.22 for a spare 18" Trinity alloy with tyre. Anybody know where I can get a spare alloy cheaper.

18" skoda rims are £150-165 iirc, then whatever rubber you want shod on top of that. I had a conti sport 2 balanced and fitted for £120. So that gets you to £270-285 as a ball park.

As a benchmark - 18' alloy wheel without the tyre for my Volvo - about 1000 pounds. Price of the spoiler for Superb at local dealers: 270 pounds.

Just got a quote for the wheel from another dealer £362.66 without the tyre.

Try No1 for skoda (Rainworth skoda) and ask for jonno the parts manager as he is very good.

I have tried 3 different dealer and the price is almost the same, the German dealer wants 458euros for one alloy, on e-bay I can buy four for 840euros
