No problems at all with my PI Springs

Another pic with them fitted on the drive:

and with my 16" Winter Alloys fitted:

I've found these for a really good price, seriously considering making a purchase, are they still driving well?

How is the general ride etc?

Fine..no problems at all ...2 years on the car now

Any links to a PI suspension kit or coilovers?

I know little about coilovers, but that's who I bought my springs from

Ok. Cheers.

Getting my 35mm H&R's fitted tomorrow so looking forward to that, ordered a few suspension bits too so it will be all done together.

Ok, now thinking of -30mm springs on standard shocks with a RARB as below.....

If the ride is harsh or not suitable, I can change the springs for somethin else.

Thoughts on this idea please???

The ARB would be a good upgrade, by all accounts the rear one gives the best improvement!

I only got the 35mm springs fitted but I have the H&R shocks so if I ever decide to go a bit lower I can just fit the 50mm springs. The ride is a little bit more firm but the main difference I have found is in the handling of the car. Before, it used to feel quite top heavy and seemed to roll in the corners, since lowering it the direction of the car in corners is much more refined, I can't think of anything else to describe it only "point and go". It feels much more planted and steady.

I think my rear shocks must have been on the way out too because once I compress them they take an absolute ages to return to the top!...time for the bin I reckon.

Very nice mate. I have more or less decided on an H&R suspension kit with the minus 50mm springs (35mm on the VRS) and a Whiteline rear anti roll bar.

Just waiting on prices from DPM Performance (they were very helpful on the phone).

Thats the H&R -50mm kit and the RARB ordered.

Should get them next week.

Pics when its done please mate, as that's the kit that I'm going for....I think.

Got a good deal from DPM Performance.

Cant wait to get the car back on the road.

  • 4 weeks later...

Still no pics?

Because these state that there for a vrs does that mean thats the drop and you dont have to take the vrs's 15mm off that? Screenshots_2014-05-10-08-21-31.png

Pi 30mm lowering spring ordered.

Pics to follow.

Where did you get them mate? I was originally goin for h&r but im swayin towards pi now.
