Told you they are worth the wait

Don't rub it in. Still waiting for my replacement/alternative choice (mid Jan)......damn!

No green headlamps on indicator in the rev counter?

Have they moved it elsewhere or just left it out?

Think it been mentioned before that it had disappeared, mind I have the auto lights now do know if that makes a difference.

The green light is there on our octy with auto lights.

I did think that there had to be one though?

I know there has to be the blue for high beam.

Very nice, " How come it's an Eleven plate "

Looks very nice.

Interesting comment about the improvement in the standard lights. Are they still H4 bulbs?

It's the prototype. :)

Pre used for testing for two years.

Wife called Lynn!?

Soooooooooo clean and shiny, I'd not want to take it out of the showroom at this time of the year. -- maybe.

They now have twin headlights the dipped beam is H7,  nightbreaker unlimited going in tomorrow, not looked at the mainbeam yet but TP thinks they have a strange base and no bulbs available other than standard fit, will look tomorrow.

Just picked it up   B)

Only driven it home 10miles,

First impressions its quieter in the cabin, engine and road noise, the ride feels a bit better (not that I had a problem with the old one)

It feels more responsive than my old one, could be due to the Hadex 5,  will hold 6th at a lot lower speed even with the engine being new and tight,  the lights are far better even with the standard halogen bulbs, have night breakers unlimited to put in tomorrow, only thing I miss is the little green light in the rev counter that tells you the lights are on.

Very happy so far will report more when I have driven it more :giggle:

And just how long have you been living in a car showroom????

Doesn't that constitute stalking :giggle:   :p

That's my garage just letting part of it out to the dealer  :giggle:

That would fit with what I found on my last Freelander, other than it had H7 for both lights.

Perhaps that will save me £900 when I'm ready to change!!

Interested to know what the main beam bulb is, though? Please let us know.

They are listed in the Handbook!

Handbook  :o, you mean you want me to read it   :notme:

I cancelled order from Progress (Bedford). Mine was an Elegance 1.2 DSG in Jungle Green with Matterhorns and Onyx Alcantara seats, so that is the spec I would want again. Be interesting to know (just for curuiousity mind), if the dealer kept the order to resell.

Congratulations Kevin, looks very nice   and.....

..... you got your car before I've even got one for the showroom  :wonder:

It looks lovely. Congratulations. I so wish I could afford a facelift model. I'm afraid I'll be stuck with my 59 plate for a while. I've got a lot of saving up to do.
