Tried this today, and it works on models with the automatic tailgate option.

 

This will enable the automatic boot closing from the interior button and the remote keyfob.

 

Go to Controller 6D - Trunk Electric

16 - Security Access - enter 12345

10 - Adaptations

Change as per the below screenshots

Yes it is the same on the Superb Wayne... but only when you have the electric tailgate option fitted.

Yep - the same module and access code, the adaptations are the same as well. Haven't tried it though on a Superb.

I coded my Superb several months ago, but have not since hooked up any other car with the electric tailgate option. 

This really is a must have if you have the electric boot.

I just assume mine electric closing boot was standard.

Do you have the button alongside the gearstick/DSG leaver to open the boot? 

 

I think it’s only the estate that has the true electric boot TBH but i am not 100% sure.

No such button anywhere inside cabin, Martin.

 

Only a button for boot release on key fob...

I suspect they're worried about someone getting hit in the head by it as they're passing by i guess.  Even though it would stop i suspect it would still hurt having the edge of the tailgate smack you in the skull!

Yup reminded me of when you see Cargo planes or sci-fi films opening the cargo door.

 

Perfect for dropping food cig aand beer parcels to the estate down the road
