Hi,

I have a little bit problem, if I connect to 6D, add the security code, everything is OK and code is accepted. But if I trying to adapt, I can not found - (4)-Activation using rear lid remote unlocking switch-Tap function for closing

There are some adaptation for trailer and so on...

My unit is 5Q0 959 107 G and I am using the newest VCDS. If not this unit described perfectly in VCDS or is it a problem elsewhere?

Thank you for answers.

It is not yet possible to do this on a Superb III

And it is not because VCDS has not described this unit or unit do not supported this feature?

Thanks.

Nobody knows for sure yet, I am hoping that we just need to wait for Ross-Tech to catch up with the car.

Ok, I hope that will come soon ;)

Thanks for answer.

Hi i'm after reprogramming my car so i can close my boot from the key fob and button inside the car, i know people on here can do it but wanted to know if anyone would help me out and how much they would charge to do it please?

or would it be worth buying a cable and VCDS software?

and would anyone know where to get these and how much they would be?

my car is a 2011 skoda superb elegance and live in billingham uk.

Does the obdeleven system do this coding?

Yes - I have done it myself ;)

Big thank you for member Da21982 for coding my skoda superb estate this weekend. now I can close the boot from the inside, oh and also for jump starting my car as i left the ignition on while we were chatting and ended up with a flat battery

Enabled traffic on my Jan 2016 build MY16 Octy RS last night with the Rosstech software and we couldn't get this to enable. It was asking for a security code, but didn't like the one posted here, or any of the usual variants.

Anyone done this on the 2016 build RS? It wasn't liking the usual codes using VCDS and Rosstech sourced software, we even tried the new beta but no joy.

Hi All

Just bought a Superb III SEL Exec and would love this acivating (found via google)

Is there anyone in Yorkshire (or close) with VCDS that knows how to do this? Am i right in thinking the VCDS I would need is the Roo-Tech at about £250? May get my own when I know more but cant really justify it yet having just bought the car!

Thanks

Look into OBDeleven also - it is cheaper and can, for the most part, do the same things VCDS does.

A small bump on this - i have a mk3 vrs Hatch, might be a silly question but will my car have this option? or is this exclusively for estates?

As stated in the first post, this ONLY works on cars with ELECTRICAL driven tailgate.

If you have it you can already open the tailgate with; button inside, remote and button on tailgate.

But you can only CLOSE it with the button on the tailgate.

This mod. makes it possible also to CLOSE the tailgate with : inside button and remote!

thank you - under closer inspection mine doesn't seem to have it - is this possible to fit or a dealer only install?

This one can have it:

Hi I have ordered the OBDeleven - is it fairly straight forward with the instructions in this thread?

Yes.

1. After connecting, go to control units (green "hamburger menu" button)

2. Go to Deck Lid control unit (6D)

3. Go to Security Access, enter login: 12345 (check that it is accepted)

4. Go to adaptation

5. Select "Activation using rear lid opening button in remote key"

6. Set "Tap function for closing" to active

7 Click the green check icon and check that it is accepted.

8. Do steps 5-7 but for "Activation using rear lid remote unlocking switch".

Can you disable the damn beeping through ODBEleven as well or does that need full-fat VCDS?

I think I've seen it somewhere in there. I will have a look.
