skoda on the cool wall?

Featured Replies

has any skoda every made it to the cool wall??

I would hope not, many things they may be but they aint cool :D

Nope, and nor would they. I think the Kristien Scott Thomas test is perfect. Cool cars are not necessarialy any good.

Are we sure about this ?? Skoda's have an "anti fashion" and "anti establishment" image about them these days.

I'm shocked by the amount of used BMW's & Merc's there are for sale at my local dealer (people apparently who have traded them in for Superbs and Octy's etc...), plus in the Sunday Times "Style" magazine (or Bling Weekly as its known as in my household) they are always going on about how "anti fashion" and "anti establishment" is now the new "cool" - even camping is "in" now, instead of an 18 day all inclusive in some far flung tropical paradise......

So Skoda's may be now classed as "Cool"

Just some comments from a dude who considers himself not to be cool

Without a doubt mate - you can consider yourself the King of Bling and all things cool -   :pimp:

Cool here too then, just picked up a Octy 2 Elegance and going camping on my mates farm today. Atrocious weather for such a pastime atm though :(

Nah, you ain't so fly homies :smokin:

No such thing as atrocious weather - just means you've got the wrong type of clothing and equipment !!!

Yes the fabia vRS is on it, but becasue it is a diesel it is uncool. next time Topgear is on look out for it, it's near the bottom. (Yellow fabia vrs)

Would i be on my own if I thought Top Gear was, on the whole, mainly a load of cack, and we don't (in the UK) have any decent car programs on TV? (Apologies to any good ones on Sky, 'cause I don't have it)

this was taken last year!!! i'm a style guru

BACK OF THE NET !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :orb_raisi

I bought my Skoda because it wasn't mainstream 'cool'.

Label on the inside, as ever.

And who decides whether they are 'cool' or not, 2 maybe 3 blokes who are supposed 'experts on cars, NOT experts on 'cool'.

Some of the cars they have put on the cool wall are sh!te in my opinion.

Yep, probably on your own there

Top Gear is one of the BBC's most highly rated programs. Even my girlfriend and my lodger (who can't drive and has no interest in cars) watch the show because their features have a wider appeal than simply being for car pervs.

When it was about superminis and people-carriers, no-one watched it and they took it off the schedule.
