Thanks will give them a go.

Hi, I borrowed my mates and it was a very good piece of kit, he has owned a few and has had minimal grief with any of them.

The ZT/R75 is supposed to be a very well built car with minimal reliability issues.

The Engine is the 2.5 KV6, which also is one of the more reliable engines rover has had to offer (except the dervs). It's also quite capable of about 220bhp with the right mods for not too much money as the std engine is apparently quite restricted.

Im guilty, ive been looking at this car in the past week, along with the ZS v6 and accord type r. I think they look lovely, especially with the big wing. But i dont think they are tuneable. Thats the car not the wing lol.

Firstly: http://www.sprintex.com.au/

Secondly... got to www.rovertech.net and search about a bit. There's a few people on there with ZSs and one guy with a rover 200 with the 2.5V6 who are all looking at getting 225bhp nasp.

They ARE tunable. Oh, and the ZS is one of the best handling FWD cars you can buy. They are by all accounts a very good package.

do you know anyone who has 100k ?? as I do 30 K a year

I know some police forces have used the estate verions of this car, so I guess it must be good for 150,000 miles....

My only experiences through friends etc:

1. MG ZT 190 70k miles no problems whatsoever

2. MG ZT TDi version. 80k miles. Numerous problems and has been back to the dealer on numerous occasions. New turbo, manifold etc that sort of thing and some more minor.

3. R75 2.5 V6 20k miles. Engine last year and replaced under warranty.

Personally I wouldn't touch one with a barge pole but there ya go :)
