Ship tracking

Featured Replies

OK Clever people - how do I do it? Links etc please :)

My vRS has finally been built and is waiting in port for a ship according to SUK - would be interesting to know what ship it's on and rough timescales and I seem to remember there's a way of roughly working it out...

No and not any of the ones like front assist/acc etc which the dealers have been offering as excuses for delays due to parts shortages.   There is no rhyme nor reason and thats what makes it all the

I'd say the City of Rome currently in port at Emden looks a good bet. Clearly a car transporter. Just arrived and British registered. There is also Thames Highway in port at Emden which looks like a car transporter and is showing Sheerness as next destination.

Built week 51 - have you had confirmation yours is on a ship yet?

I'm guessing they probably will come into sheerness - why am I not surprised to hear there is another backlog....

thanks

No worries, Im waiting on mine too. Dealer told me it was "in transit from the factory to the port" on Friday.

As mines going to Bedfordshire I'm guiessing it will go into either Sheerness or one of the eastern ports Harwich/Felixtowe so I'm looking out myself.

Deaker also said it was "due to be with us by the end of January" so it may not be shipping just yet anyway.....

Spotted that the thames highway is due in tomorrow morning but without confirmation from SUK that mine is on there there's little point in speculating - it does look like a big ol ship though...

I was told end of Jan as well, having been told week 2 before Christmas - another day another slip...lol

I've been lucky, ordered 17 Nov was told (and was expecting) March, then got email to say BW2, then another on Fri to say already built and in transit!

Yeah well I ordered on 26/27th August - then again the whole process has been a complete joke so this doesn't really surprise me...

I agree it's a farce very badly managed and and totally unfair. There appears to be no reason to it, although it maybe I got lucky because I didn't order many options.
