  • Little update...My car looks bit different now. We went to Poland end of August for two weeks holiday. As I have already mentioned I discovered that lacquer is peeling on my Furby. I did try to speak

  • My car was tested on the track today...my handling mods were well worth it. I absolutely loved every minute I spent on the track. Now I'm off to find some track wheels and tyres, new Turbo, New FMIC

  • Pictures of the car as promised but please bear in mind that I hadn't had a chance to clean it yet as I only got back yesterday... :p   How the car looks with Weitec GT Hicon Coilovers:     New

I'm not spending anymore money on the car cleaning products...Well, this month... :giggle:

I think the only one more thing I might buy next month is the Clay Cloth which seems to do the trick and work really well.

Now it's the time to start saving for all MODs as I need to pre order some by end of April...

This months cash allowance has been spent on the detailing products...Not Good but I didn't think twice or felt bad when hitting the Proceed and Pay buttons.

Glad my Mrs doesn't know how much all of these costed me...If the weather's good this Saturday I'm defo going to test these so watch this space...

Today I decided to fit some bulbs that arrived and I'm really happy with the results. I have the pics of the front only...

Side LED Philips Blue Vision 6000k (These were £20 for a pair but well worth it):

Headlight H7 Philips Diamond 5000k (Left one is the Osram Night Breaker, Right new Philips Diamond):

Both Philips Diamond ones fitted:

I have also replaced the standard orange indicator ones with the Philips Silver Vision Indicator bulbs, the rear standard ones with 382 Philips Vision Plus P21W Single filament +50% and the interior standard ones with the LED Interior Bulb. One thing left is to replace the number plate ones with the festoon bulbs LEDs Xenon White which have already arrived but it was too dark to do these ones today.

I must admit these little additions totally changed the look of my car so I'm happy bunny...   :sun:  :sun:

Question to the peeps who upgraded their Brakes to 312mm...

It's looking like I might be able to get myself some cheap Audi S3 Callipers and Carriers (312mm ones) and will need to buy the Discs and Pads to replace my current small brakes...

The question I have is will I need the new ABS Sensors...? Can I use the existing one...? Is the swap process very complicated on MK2 Fabia.

I have used the search button but couldn't find anything so any help and adivce on this will be much apprieciated...

Matty

You should be fine matty so long as you don't damage your abs sensors.

Thanks Charlie. So just need to be careful when replacing my current ones with the new 312mm set up.

As far as I remember with mine no need for more than you already posted - same goes for the brake lines too they reach fine.

Yep just avoid using a hammer to remove anything :D

Won't be using the hammer for sure...!

Thanks guys. Always prefer to check before I buy something...;)

And just to check what age s3 is it?

Managed to clean my car on Friday...

Used the Obsession Wax Itus Sample that was sent to me by Mark (Sparkly) and I must admit...I can't wait to use the Hybrid 86 wax and other goodies from the Group Buy that Mark sorted for the Brisky Members...!

Here are some photos, please bear in mind that I have only spent 3 hrs on cleaning the car which means the OB Waxes are really easy to apply and work with:

Also, I started buying some parts already and so far I ordered:

  • Front Sparco Spacers inc the longer Bolts - 12mm per side
  • Rear Sparco Spacers inc the longer Bolts - 17mm per side
  • Meyle HD drop links

Today I'm planning to order the H&R Rear ARB and Upgraded Suspension Bushes, waiting for the final quotes from two suppliers and will place order with one of them as I need all parts to arrive by 14.05.14

Oooo spacers, I am envious, really want some soon. They make a massive difference to our narrow Fabia's!
