Beads after a wet weekend in Herefordshire.

 

Some beading after the birthday I gave her yesterday

I have to admit to liking beading, a couple I took after rinsing off the SF earlier:

 

 

The neighbours give me some looks when i'm taking photos of the car in the rain.......but yet again there odd fekers anyway .!!

After polishing and applying SONAX xtreme hybrid NPT

Sonax NPT topped with BSD over a week ago. Short clip. 

 

The rain held off at Elsecar yesterday until the end but has made up for it overnight. The beading pattern on the roof looked good, though the rain means the roads will be filthy and the currently clean car won't be so clean after the school run :(

 

Nearly 2 weeks since it's last Sonax BSD aplication and we are still beading

Even the windscreen looks good.

Middle picture looks OK but the beads on the top picture look very flat IMO.

2 weeks and 3 days after I cleaned it (sorry, couldn't clean it on Saturday, last minute Easter plans, will get it done next week for sure)

I find that regular reapplication of BSD (Only takes a few minutes) will keep it beading properly

Chris, would you then say that reapplying after every wash, which is what I do, is a waste?

Peugeot 205 bonnet the day after applying just one layer of Collinite 915.    I was chuffed enough.

I'd say it's a waste. Beads well for two to three washes easy. So little benefit of re-applying. Especially if you have wax under it.

As said...its a waste of product ..

as a rule of thumb...

if the beads begin to flatten out (Like in the picture of the red car above), then the product is beginning to fail and it needs reapplying
