Maybe not so much beading, as hydrophobic ?

Chemical Guys Pete's 53 10 mins after shower. Car rear end low on driveway slope, picture of bonnet.

Apologies for pic taken with phone.

It got quite distracting driving to work as a lot of the big beads on the bonnet pooled together into one around 2" across. That was balanced between the slope on the windscreen edge of the bonnet and the air flow from the wind. It was just sliding around like a big blob of mercury, until going round a bend split it apart and they all abandoned ship!

Officer: "What was distracting you so much that you might of crashed Sir? Were you on a mobile phone?"

"Funny story actually... "

Haha :)

Lovely beads and I particularly love that shade of green

Yeah our new green beast certainly gets more positive comments than the old red/White one did.

2 layers of Poorboys White Diamond, a layer of C2V3 and a layer of Autofinesse Desire. All applied by hand. Taken on an iPhone 5.

Does the AF Desire actually add anything? Can appreciate the PB layering then topping with C2v3 to seal it off but just curious whether the Desire builds on the finish.

Wow - that's good graft there mate - great results!

What's your thoughts on AF Desire? Did it add much depth, gloss, etc?

I used it more because I had it and really wanted to try it, only used it quickly on the bonnet. It did add slightly more protection I'd say.

Cheers dude, was a well needed detailing day!

It definitely added more protection, the beads on the bonnet where I applied it were tighter than the rest of the car. I'd also say it added more gloss definitely. It was so easy to work with, applied in a very thin layer and left to cure for 10 minutes. Buffed off easily. Also barely used any really, so good all round. Just a shame the tub isn't bigger!

Good to hear your thoughts mate. Desire sounds nice - but pricey....

i opted for Illusion in the end, but still to find time to test it out.

Looks like we had a short shower overnight ... I hate these followed by sun, rain or not I say ! But it did yield some sweet beading and reflections this morning.
