As said...its a waste of product ..

as a rule of thumb...

if the beads begin to flatten out (Like in the picture of the red car above), then the product is beginning to fail and it needs reapplying

Thank for that Chris, and `WookieeM`.

Trouble is...my car never gets wet! If it rains I dont go out! He! He!. :giggle:

Anyway, I'll bear that in mind.

Regards

Mike.

^^ nice shot, good beading.

Ref re-applying - I only tend to top up my GT-c2v3 about every other wash and that is a diluted mixture.

If like dbg400's picture above, the beads are still tight then there is no reason to reapply, only when the beads flatten out.

(Like in the picture of the red car above)

It got quite distracting driving to work as a lot of the big beads on the bonnet pooled together into one around 2" across. That was balanced between the slope on the windscreen edge of the bonnet and the air flow from the wind. It was just sliding around like a big blob of mercury, until going round a bend split it apart and they all abandoned ship!

I wish it would piggin' rain properly over here in East Anglia !

Fine weather after my last clean meant a layer of dust settled, then the odd spit gathered all the dust into the beads, which dried out leaving dirty spots.

If it would rain properly it would wash off ... I guess that'll give me an excuse to get the snow foam out again ....

After another wash and coat of Collinite 845 tonight seen it was a lovely night here! Fake rain via pressure washer is where it's at! :giggle:

^^^^^^^ Nice - i like it...... was thinking of doing mine tonight - but the option of beer and pub was too tempting!  :giggle:

After quite literally all day spent machine polishing Dan's lovely red Fabia, here's the end result....

We almost couldn't stop pressure washing as it was so mesmerising!

You might want to post a better pic Alex...

Sorry.I cant see any beading at all

Me neither haha and it looks pink

It's a video guys ;) ! Click on it!!!

It was nearly midnight when this was taken, so outside light is making the car look pink. Believe me... it's very red! I'll await Dan's pictures :)

To be fair - video is pretty poor resolution;

but still the beading/sheeting is evident.

Good work mate

Seams to be beading better after I put the second coat of wax on it:
