If I hadn't spent so much on detailing products I'd be well on the way to buying that prime lens I'm after!

Awesome beading Martin

It's been relatively easy to look after since the last session you & Alan did on it. I just give it another coat of BSD every month or so. It's in full sun first thing on a morning, so rain overnight always makes it look good :)

Out of interest do you remember what sealant you're likely to have used back then (17th March).

I think it was Autobrite Hellshine Abyss.

That's gotta be worth all your hard graft in the heat the other day. Looks great.

Absolutely awesome - the beading on this stuff is just immense.

I have 2 coats of it on the .:R36 and i still marvel at the beading...

...plus the flake pop within each bead is superb too!!!

I keep reading this `.:R36` thing. What on earth is it?

Ah. Now that explains the R36. Thanks.

What about the `.:`?

Mimics the formal logo.... thanks for the questions!

I think I've high jacked this thread for long enough.

Suffice to say... how .: mimics that logo...is well beyond me!

Always a pleasure..... I cant really explain any further.

Its a style adopted on the owners for R32, R36, R50 etc; to mimic the actual badge on the car.

Thread hijack complete!  :D

post-101431-0-88472600-1406785508_thumb.jpgEarly morning beads!

Think this would look great with a decent camera.

Thunder storm swept through within minutes of me finishing a rapid polish and wax of the mini. beading on freshly applied Collinite 915 marc d'elegance.

Sadly the beading's never very even as are no flat surfaces on the car.

Wow love how it looks like black ink!

Thanks, that was after 5 hours graft on the car :)

Fusso99 2 weeks on, with no washing in-between.

Looking good. I've just put a coat of Fusso on to my alloys. It's good stuff.

My wife's mazda wearing a new sample wax her uncle is working on.

It's a carnauba ptfe blend. Looking good on test so far.

You have been busy Carl - both cars looking good!

Thanks ste,

Talk to you about the new wax when you get home, it's a liquid wax it's really thick and kind of reminds me of collinite 846.
