I have just purchased a map disc of the V9 and am intending to update the firmware and maps on my MY09 Superb at the weekend . Since its an early car is way overdue.

 

I dont know what version of firmware it is using but does that matter ?

 

Or can i just load the most up to date version on there ? Do I need to "Step up" versions first ?

 

I do have Vag Com if that makes any difference

Step one is determining what version HW Columbus you have, then which SW version you can load. Then finally the map.

Hi guys, there is something here I do not understand. Why do you have to buy the maps (e.g: V9, V10), why don't you just download the whole lot from navigation.com? Is there something different about those maps you're talking about here?
