Eyebrows - yes or no....discuss

Featured Replies

Firstly, this is NOT my car. It belongs to a colleague.

Whats the verdict on the eyebrows? Personally I dont like them.

No no no no NO!

No!

Just don't ;)

Chris

they dont look right on the silver car but not having a colour coded grille or a sportier looking front bumper dont help either.

now MonkeyBoys black vRS looks the danglies with eye brows on.

theres a picture in his gallery.

Doesn't work...especially on a Mrk1.

Agree with Nigel about colour as welll...doesn't suite silver....black works well though a la Monkeyboy and Eddy.

Standard lamps just have the "something missing" look about them....IIRC the first press pics had RS' with Xenon lamp which deffo had a more complete look.

EddyH's octy looks good with them too. Early models have a horizontal bottom edge to the headlights where as Eddy's has the angled bottom edge, this means the brow's look better with the lights.

This car is going to be worth watching, its already gained a tiny alloy aerial and these eyebrows. Neons are apparently on the way.

Its a 110 diesel.

I can't quite see the point. Do they not restrict the headlight beams?

Agreed that they don't suit that particular car. Thanks for the compliments guys, suppose this is a good excuse to post a pic of mine! :D

they do alittle, i had a set on the R19 for a while until i got bored of them.

i see a barry'd up corsa every morning that has the strangest bad boy bonnet i've ever seen...

I was going to say no no no! But after seeing eddy's car they look good there.

So guess its down to colour and car.

They make that car look like a crappy old car IMO!

:o .....that said everyone still can read Lorna's posts and she must type with fingers the size of marrows. ;)

Personally I don't like them or see the point, but if we were all the same the world would be a boring place.

Personally I don't think the "eyebrows" look good in any car. Black optics is the only front lights related mod that gets a  from me.. and yeah it's not practical but looks good IMO.. another lights related annoyance is the dreaded lexus lights (now I just HAD to mention them again) .. :D
