Featured Replies

i have em & like em so, ne ne ne ne ne ;):) ( see below)

They dont restict any light

Don't they cover part of the clear plastic though? Does no light go through that bit?

I think most of the light goes through the lower portion on the lens (hence you dont dazle people). When on full beam i doubt they make a difference as the shadows would be about 15ft in the air.

Pointless chavvy mod IMHO :thumbdwn:

Never understood the point of putting 'eyebrows' on a car. Surely making a car look like a face is just naff and definately a little wierd. Or am I missing the point?

I think it all started with the front grille spoilers that Kamei started to produce back in the mid '90's.

Ever seen a Mk2 Golf grille spoiler?

I have some on my fabia. It looks ok to me but then again it depends on the color and the car. I see them on some cars and think what a load or carp!

Oops! :P :D

Well I guess they do look slightly better on black cars, but ... hell, no! My opinion stands :grumpy: :P

Well if you will go sticking fish to the front of your car ...

I can't say that eyebrows on a car are to my taste but each person is different. If you like them then fair enough

I've put them on my Superb and they make a big difference - changes it from a sort of gormless look to one thats a bit aggressive. Must post the piccies one day

I don't really get what's all this talk about looking agressive, don't think making the car look sleepy will make it more agressive :D Anyway if I see a car with eyebrows it doesn't make me think, "ooh that car must be very agressive" but rather "ooh the owner must think his car looks so agressive now".. ok jokes aside, honestly, if the owner likes it then it's a justified mod, period :)

btw, my car is far from agressive looking and don't want it to look like either as I don't like to provoke other drivers, although my driving style may sometimes do so :D

Do they make the car go better or faster...........no.......so I don't want them....but what others do is up to them :D

I think you'll find each 'eyebrow' is worth at least ten brake

Rich, It's not quite as simple as that. What they actually do is reduce the drag coefficient by 0.0127, this seemingly small reduction has a large effect on acceleration and top speed. Typically 0-60 is reduced by 0.2s and top speed increased by 3mph. When combined with similar benefits of a stubby aerial (which unfortunately I don't have) the difference is noticeable.

No no, you got it all wrong.. they actually cause turbulence making the car go slower because the air gets trapped under the eyebrow instead of flowing nicely over the bonnet..

I don't like eyebrow spoilers - don't really see the point of covering part of the headlights!

This car is going to be worth watching' date=' its already gained a tiny alloy aerial and these eyebrows. Neons are apparently on the way.

he could top it off with a set of spinners  seen a set on an octavia last week.......plastic hubcap ones though :thumbdwn:
