Soft99 fusso coat?

Featured Replies

Sorry posted this pic a couple of times, but I have a coat of fusso soft on my car in this one. Really good to work with.

I'm yet to try a clay cloth or mitt yet though, I'm not quite sold on them. Sticking with my trusty bar ;)

They are superb to use and transforms the claying process...providing you have deironed and detarred first..on heavy contamination

Second coat of Fusso applied on my .:R36 tonight. Approx one week after the first coat was applied!

Tell you what.... This stuff is absolutely awesome!!!

Wait until you try and get snow foam to land on Fusso!!!! LOL

Foam and wash process was an absolute breeze!

Second Fusso coat went on as easy as the first.

I'll post pics later...

I drove to my mums house this morning, the car had beading all over it. By the time I'd gotten 2 mins down the road the car had practically dried itself.

I understand what all the fusso was about now :D

Another coat going on today.

Have you Carl?

That's what i found the first day i took the car out; within minutes the car was blow dry - more so than i see with my usual wax/sealant.

Pics of a healthy snowfoam mixture trying to adhere to single coat Soft99 Fusso Dark coat.... very entertaining indeed!

Fusso was applied 1 week ago and car has not been detailed since then.

Snow foam used was a thick mixture of ValetPro pH Neutral.

Alloys show similar effect from Sonax BSD coat

Dilema alert!!

What QD?

or

No QD?

No QD?

If doing a thorough test at this stage - i would suggest to monitor Fusso without any QD confusion.

Certainly my plan at this stage.

I was thinking more long term rather than now

Possibly a wax based QD Like Bilt Hamber rather than BSD or CG v7

TBH..It appears to perform better than BSD in the Beading department and its not a long job to reapply regularly..So NO QD maybe

Based on what i have seen from a single coat.... i would tend to agree.

I'll still use BSD on the wheels to add to my CC Platinum Sealer but will leave the paintwork QD for now at least

Correct - Sonax BSD on the alloys is working very well indeed, as well as door shuts and boot lip area ... Fantastic! :)

Have you seen on DW?.... a guy mixed BSD with v7 and got the durability of and beading of BSD with the slickness of v7

Pictures of the 2nd Fusso coat finished and curing on the .:R36.

Low light pictures as i finished about 9pm.... but you get the idea...

Thanks for the comment Carl. Mine was looking dusty and some pollen marks after the week;

but regardless the water behaviour and behaviour of the snowfoam application gave an indication of good protection!

I hope you get a 2nd coat applied soon and enjoy the results.

It is just starting to rain here.... bring it on!!!

Given the way Fusso Dark Coat looks on my metallic blue R36;

i think you will love the way it goes on the Race Blue Octavia!

The beading is awesome..... magnifying the metallic flakes so well....

been soooooooooooo tempted to grab a tin of this but then washed and put a coat of OptiSeal on SWMBO's CRV in under 7 mins (as thats how long my duck was in the oven for) and its looking stunning, so I am just about managing to resist! Unless someone wants to sell me a little thimble sized sample to try on the new car please :D
