so those who have used both, how does PNS/BSD compare to Fusso in day to day life? I know Fusso is supposed to be very long lasting, and per use its going to work out loads cheaper than PNS, but what about beading, sheeting, dirt repelling etc?

Nice again ste.

I noticed some amazing flake pop on the car today, but i have to say I've got quite a lot of dust settled on the car..

I'm at the coast too and you should have seen the seagull s*it on it this morning, I thought it must have been done by an ostrich! Then again even that seems to small, I can only think it must have been a terrordactyl lol. But protection wise it did it's job and I just wiped off with a bit of bug and poo remover.

Thanks Carl. I found the same with bird pop removal.... No issues.

Flake pop was a surprise but very impressive.

I found the first wash an absolute breeze. Snow foam and rinse alone... The car looked awesome and the beading was almost hypnotic!!!

For £20..... I'm extremely impressed and still to find a downside on this product (except the smell!) :)

I may have found one

I noticed when applying it to Wayne's Superb, that in certain light, application lines could be seen on the boot lid and bonnet

No amount of buffing would remove them. I showed this to Wayne and I suggested that a coat of another wax on top might remove these marks...It did

So..What was it?

I can only suggest it was the oils in the Fusso, not being removed with buffing

Was it too warm? No

Had I applied too much?

Had I applied too little?

So...after much experimenting with my own car, it was still there..very faint lines of application evidence despite trying many ways of applying it

On a lighter coloured car..wifes Citroen....not a problem

Very strange

Normally with wax you need VERY little. Fusso seams to leave behind a bit of product if it's not buffed enough with a high pile clean mf cloth. I'd say you'd want 3or 4 cloths to buff a car fully properly. With most waxes less is more ;)

Not seen this behaviour personally.... on either cost applied to my car so far. I would refer it to Jackie Wong if it's a concern to help understand.

Too thick perhaps? Left on too long before buffing? Temperature/humidity related?

Hope you get it sorted. :)

Ps I normally hit it with a light spray of QD after just to make sure..

These are just my experiences obviously.

If left too long to cure before buffing stage then a light spray of water works well too. Found this was required with Definitive Wax especially :)

Tried all options

Very thin as most waxes should be applied........A bit thicker.....Temperatures normal and High

Also tried the wet method as described in DW

Buffed off instantly...buffed off after 5 mins...10 mins...15 mins

Still the same

Weird indeed. For me Fusso goes on with same technique and ease as FK1000P which has been a favourite for many years. Can't complain at all....

Feedback from my detailing pics and review on the OCD forums have been well received too.

Just waiting on my new wax arriving to top it off :)

I will give Mr. Wong a ring tomorrow

I need to speak to him anyway  ;)

Good luck - already spoke with him on a few products and group buy suggestions.

He's not entertaining much, although those attending Waxstock may get some deals. :)

Let's hope I don't ring the wong number

Sorry couldn't resist. Lol

I dropped him a note anyway to advise that a friend I had recommended the product too, was having application issues. So I trust he is about to advise...

Thanks...but I will need to talk to him as well ;)

Wasn't stopping you.... Just felt obliged to let him know about the issue and add some weight to it.

Interested in finding out the detail on possible preparation or interaction issues before I do SWMBO's car later this week. :)

Zooommm!!

Zooommm!!

???? Zoom zoom.... Your favourite is Mazda? LOL

Soft99 Authentic out for delivery tomorrow

I'm really happy with Soft99 products so far; Fusso performance is absolutely superb, but not used Authentic as yet.

Tried Fusso Dark on top of a couple of different glazes last night - but no sign of the streaks you have seen Chris.

I think the Authentic packaging is nice and the 2 tins (Fusso and Authentic) now have pride of place on the detailing shelf!

Just waiting on my Glaco sample now.

I've got too much GTech G5 to think about another similar product at the moment...but could be an option for any clients

Pretty much maxed out and up to the gunwhales with products now

Just waiting on CYC to get the Rupes Copy in..then a Rotary and I'm done!!

Yes - got more G5 coming too (Thanks Carl) but wanted to test Glaco for sure.

Indeed - looking forward to the new Rupes/Flex copies arriving.... should be good.

Just ordered myself another batch of polishing pads in readiness
