I'm looking at getting an Octavia VRS 2.0 Petrol, but have had a mixture on feedback regarding whether to get a pre or post facelift.

 

I've heard that the differences are just cosmetic, e.g. lights, etc?

 

Are there any significant differences that are worth worrying about, as I have found a '56 plate that i'm interested in.

 

I'm also looking at not leaving it standard... thinking Eibach springs, Green panel filter and remap (trying not to spend too much money as already have a race spec mx-5)?

 

Just looking for people that have done this and what the difference is

 

Any feedback would be much appreciated.
