Hello to all. Ive put a deposit down on a 13 plate mean green fabia vRS. It has done just 2000miles in that year. And im stoked. This forum seems great for everything skoda and I shall take advantage of it. And put back in knowledge gained to try to help others.

Just a quick question.

Ive been told by my local dealership that they need to see my driving license before I can drive the car away. Is this the case? Im currently waiting for my replacement but its really dragging and im eager to drive the car.

Congrats on the new car. I've had my vrs estate for just over a month now and love it :-).

As regards to the driving license I'm not too sure. I only had to show them my license when I test drove it. Unless it's something to do with the insurance. Are you getting drive away insurance?

I showed them my paper part of my license for the test drive..

But for some reason they need to seey full license before i can drive it away.. I think it might be something to do with the finance?? Not entirely sure but it is annoying when I just wanna get my hands on the car.

Gonna ring them tomorrow and see if its possible they would speak to the DVLA to confirm I do hold a full uk driving license.. perhaps that would swing it for me.

Bus to work is a drag.. alright if u like to go round the houses lol
